Has there been an update for this skin recently? All of a sudden, when I press 'Guide' to bring up the EPG while I'm already watching Live TV, all I get is a tiny, 3-line EPG at the bottom of the screen instead of the fullscreen EPG. The 3-line version shows so little data, it's completely useless and once it's popped up, it's really fiddly to get the full screen EPG back. The quickest way I've found so far is to completely stop playback of Live TV and then re-enter the guide.

Yes Scott has updated the skin with my mod. Maybe scott could add a skin setting to turn it on or off. If you think of improvemenys to the mod I will be interested.

Ah OK, good to at least know why it's happened. A toggle would be very much appreciated, I've just tried copying ViewsLiveTV.xml from one of my NUCs which hasn't updated yet but that just produces a completely blank guide. Is there a way to restore the original layout using the files from this NUC which hasn't updated?

I don't have any suggestions for improvements - for anyone wanting to watch TV while browsing the guide, I'm sure the mini version is great but personally, it doesn't fit with my usage at all, when I bring the guide up, it's to look for something to watch and with 100+ channels, 3 lines is really no good.

I don't know if you found a solution to this yet, but I simply edited MyPVRGuide.xml line 133:

to

<include condition="Player.HasVideo">ViewEPGTimeline</include>  <!-- view 10 -->

This simply takes makes the condition of video playing or not result in the same condition of the fullscreen guide. Easy enough to revert if you change your mind later on.

Thanks Guapozx, I hadn't figured this out, no but it was the kick up the arse I needed to have a proper look at other skins that are out there and I found Aeon Nox (Silvo mod). I'd tried vanilla Knox before but found it was a bit too basic and nowhere near customisable enough, but the Silvo mod fixes all that and it's a much cleaner look than MQ which is slowly becoming too busy for its own good. Added to that, the seemingly endless beta for a proper Jarvis MQ skin and the new accelerated release strategy of the Kodi team, MQ just isn't going to keep up.

Thank you again Scott for keeping MQ5 up to date, it was very good of you to do so.

I'm having trouble getting the extended info script to work in this Jarvis Aeon Mq5 Mod, or at least I think that's the problem. The media info isn't showing up in the box like it did when i was still using Gotham 13.2

Thanks for the HU. It was a regression introduced in modding right list view for etter use in party mode.

there will be a new ver 8.2.1 shortly. In the mean time if you want to grab the xml file and replace the current one you can get it from my github here:

Is there a way to hide the plot text in the "Continue watching" & "Recently added" menus (Above the Movie/TV Show Main Menus)? If I go to a movie or tv show via their proper menus the plots of the unwatched are hidden however if I select anything in the continue watching/recently added menus the entire plot is visible.

Sorry for late reply. You need to go into the settings / add-ons / "My addons" / Services / and find "Skin Widgets" add-on. Go to "configure" and in the settings for Ski Widgets on the "General" tab is a radiobutton to toggle "show plot for unwatched items".

Btw, I used this keypad(.xml) commandline in the Isengard version. But the same line is not working in the Jarvis Aeon Mq5 Mod.
