I do a library update (have added some clearlogos to my movies
and also have enabled the Update Art (clearart, logo, landscape)
but no clearlogo is displayed ... (use the <moviename>-clearlogo.jpg as names

any ideas on how the madnox will see my all my new clearlogos ?

clearlogos are meant to be in the ".PNG" file format and not ".JPG".

That I think will be the issue. And just renaming your files will not help I think. You need to have a real .png file

Ok, I will try to describe my Live Background Bug a little more.

The following configuration:
Kodi 16.1 RC1 with the latest git and completely new configuration.

I have config only a Smart Playlist with the latest 10 Movies, sort by last added.
The order by Live Background is not correct.
It is not so bad but nice it would be if the latest movie is always on top.

My Playlist Setup:


The correct sequence with the last 10 Movies: (The sequence is not correct)


This is the view, with sort order by playlist AND widget:


This is the view, when i have NO sort order in the widget, only in the playlist:


But this is the same config, afer a restart of kodi. The sequence change


And this is the correc view by the old madnox widget version and the same playlist. (no sequence change by an reboot) CORRECT


Any idea?

Wondering if this could be worked on, in Music mode (showcase2) there is no option to select the extrafant like what we have in TV Shows or Films for Showcase

Hoping this could be worked on as it would be nice to have this option while browsing your Music collection.

for the new Live BG you have to use the sort options in the widget control. Nothing else will probably work. And what is wrong? your 10 films are displayed and in the positions they have always been, that is the same code as Madnox I believe?

I have the same setup and my very latest movie i.e. your Bridge of Spies, is located below 'Movies' and the home bar when Sort order : Descending and Sort by: Date added.

Are you actually saying the position of the very latest poster is wrong? And you can't fully compare to Old Madnox as this is a completely different solution in some areas.

You have to use artwork downloader to actually load the clearlogos into the Kodi DB, we only use what Kodi gives us, so it has to be in Kodi to begin with not just in the actual folder. Use the I option on a movie where it is missing then extras, and choose art and see if clearlogo has an image, if not then nothing has been assigned either manually or by AD.

ive tested this new name too
moviename-clearlogo.png - also have problems !
now i am back on my old system ive mentioned in my tips section on first page ( WHOOO there is a tips section ... funny )
when i rename it back to just logo.png and use artworkdownloader, everything is fine

Looks correct for the 'List' style layout. You can have them further to the right with the 'Extended List' style.

I have another question about smartplaylists. The next one I would like to create is similar to next episodes or recommended episodes, i.e showing next tv shows in a series to watch, but if possible we would like this to show the next tv episode in a smart playlist.

Is it possible to do this?

Would be nice, I know generally TV / Movies get priority work, the Music upgrades have been great so far, just would be nice to apply some of the artwork enhancements to the Music section as well, specifically showcase view
