Do the updates in GIT fix the problem if using Emby in "addon playback mode" rather than "direct paths playback mode"?

From what I seen recently on the emby forums it's working properly again without direct paths...however the update in GIT did not make any changes in this area so it must be down to a change in the emby addon. Personally I use direct paths and use the Cinema Experience addon for trailers.

Edit: after testing again I am still having the same problem:

I am using the latest Emby Server release: Version 3.0.5882.0
The latest emby.kodi plugin: v2.2.10
The latest version of this addon: v1.0.15
Kodi v 16 Jarvis

When a episode is ending I get the pop-up as expected but nothing happens when the current episode ends and the countdown finishes.

Are there any further logs that could be of help?

I have changed Emby to direct paths mode as a fix for now and it works as expected!

Using Kodi Jarvis with Aeon MQ skin on my MINIX NEO X8-H Plus and all files are local.

Have reverted to version 1.0.15 which works fine except for the Trakt issue.

My library is made up of .strm files and the latest update seems to now show the NextUp notification (before it never used to). So whatever you did, thanks im85288 However, I don't get the next episode thumbnail to show. Not sure if this is something that can be fixed, but I thought I'd also chime in and confirm a blank episode thumbnail. I'm also using the latest version (1.0.16) with the Arctiz Zephyr skin. All episode thumbs are scraped perfectly in library.

I haven't noticed that but I have noticed that nextup has 100% stopped working on my use hard devices.
