Easiest hack would be to try those DNS/proxy providers to test your theory (Unlocator etc)
Do you mean for testing or as a long-term solution? Feel odd about paying additional for the latter for what should be legally obtainable from a MLB Premium subscription. Not like I am trying to avoid their intentional blackout restrictions. BTW, I have been reading that MLB has started blocking known proxies (e.g., from AWS IP addresses) that have been trying to get over the local market blackout restrictions.
Seems like a technology snafu somewhere rather than intentional blocking.
Has anyone tried this on a cellular network for live games? Trying to figure out if it is an issue with my carrier IP addresses or with use of IPv6 or a universal problem.

I just tried it on my cell connection (FreedomPop/Sprint), and I too got blackout errors for every game, even when I tethered another phone. Of course, the At Bat app works fine, and XPrivacy works to get around blackouts, so it isn't a big deal for me. Maybe they black out known cellular IP ranges that don't provide GPS location data too? Would be interesting to see what calls the At Bat app makes.

I read this yesterday, So I installed the repo, on a fresh install, no other repo or addons, using Sprint services, was able to view home and away games. NO BLACKOUT RESTRICTIONS, I did not tune into any Team that would have had B.O.R. just a FYI.

I have a problem on multiple Android devices that I need to share. On both the Nexus Player and Fire TV 4k version and the Fire TV Stick, I can reproduce without fail massive glitching and crashing when using any plugin after 4.7.2 and using the 5000 stream. It is worse when I use a DNS proxy, but the stream heavily glitches and sometimes goes at a rate of a couple of frames every few seconds. If I leave the stream and try to restart it then most of the time Kodi or SPMC will crash after playing a couple of seconds of smooth video. This is with fresh installs of Kodi or SPMC, x86 and ARM. It also happens with the Jarvis builds. I'm not sure why 4.7.2 works perfectly and the new versions don't, but it could be something to do with Android devices + Kodi. 4.7.2 is as smooth as butter though. Great plugin!

Yes, I am using the current version. I will reboot when I get home later today and see what happens. Is there a plan B to keep Kodi from hiding incompatible addons?
Here is a link to all the mlb plug ins. Click on Raw to download the one you want.

Interesting. When you are able to do this verifiably, can you please visit https://www.iplocation.net/ and see if they list the IP address as from Sprint and whether they give the correct IP location for you?
Thanks

It seems like you are using your WiFi connection for data not cellular. This universal blackout problem does not happen for Comcast IPs only when you go through cellular networks for data resulting in carrier IPs.

You are 100% correct. every team home and away gave the Black out restriction, using the phone's service data plan.

Thanks to both of you above for confirming this. GPS data isn't necessary. AtBat works without turning on GPS or allowing GPS for location information in the device.
I will try to see if I can set up a snoop to study AtBat calls and post if I am successful.

I would love to be able to pick from a list of available highlights. Is there any way that could be a thing?
