Hi guys

Just a quick question, I have been using Madnox now for a while but I notice on the 1st page of this post that there is a new view called sets,

I am using the Jarvis version which I downloaded from GIT, but I don't have the Sets view on mine, any reason why, or how I can get it ?

Sets should be a sub menu item under movies. And then when in sets, change view and there is another view for sets.

Hello guys,

just changed my widget for movies like described to playlist.

The problem is that the widget ignores the kind of sorting I chose.
If I chose sorting by date in the skin options the widget shows me the posters in an alphabetical order but I want it sorted by date added!

The funny thing is, if I take a direct look at the playlist everything is fine!

Can please somebody give me a clue to fix this?

Is that skin compatible with LibreElec 7.0.0 running Kodi 16.1 ? The home page is blank when I put this skin.


Edit : Nvm.. installed Aeon Nox and was able to switch to Madnox and everything work good now.

Ok, was playing around with the audio visualisation today, & to my surprise the views I want as background are available in background customizer when music is playing.

Can someone tell me how I can move these options into the customise main menu area so I can set them as background for the main menu?

Here's some screenshots of what I mean. It will only appear when music visualisation is off, obviously.

Have you switched on movie sets?

System > Video > Library > Group movies in sets

Then if you have sets scanned in you should have it.

Thank you meowmoo! I hadn't made the connection between making a smart playlist & those new (to me) live backgrounds, I had thought they had to be written into the skin! Someone mentioned it originally to me when I asked bit I misunderstood their meaning!

Just made a couple of smart playlists & I now have it set up nicely!

I have one other question though, where is the music - files option? I have to keep going into confluence when I need to access music - files (I'm setting up my collection as per the excellent guide here but also using cdart manager so need to use it a lot) cos I can't seem to find the option on this skin, I'm pretty sure you could access it via the left hand menu on shednox helix.

This has happened a few times, first time I've had a keyboard ready to grab a screenshot.

The poster in episode view goes missing. Used to happen in Shednox too if that's any help, although shednox didn't have the 'no fanart' template displayed.

The poster is there, & was displayed fine until after I stopped the video & came back into the show.

It's not specific to cdartmanager, just as I'm setting up music from scratch & retagged properly again I'm creating playlists as I go along.

How do i create another category (like Movies/Music/TV Shows) in the main screen (this is know how to do) butt add there Disney Movies for my little girl, but i don't want this movies to be added to my Movies section .

I want to have categories for movies completely.

@LS2k, do you have more into please?, you mean set one background for all menus?, can you tell me where the option is in the Silvo mod?

@gaundms, I think you could try the following:

1. Create 2 new smartplaylists, one points to your movies and the other to Disney movies. i.e. Path starts with value in the playlist editor
2. Change the Movie menu option action to the new 'Movies' playlist, this should then mean 'Movies' is just your films.
3. Add new menu option and set action to 'Disney Movies' playlist and there should be a new option now for your little girl.

Of course you can use the new playlists as well to create / change widgets if you have any already on your 'Movies' option and also for the 'Disney' option.

If 'Disney' is scraped then they are in your video library and will show up in the standard 'Movie' options in the menu. Changing to the above playlist suggestions should enable you to effectively split your movies to how you want them.

Just as a potential other option that many people don't seem to use so much anymore, I setup a separate profile for kids.

You can add an easy switch from the main menu (create custom menu entry using 'LoadProfile(PROFILENAME)' obviously ignore the quotations & replace PROFILENAME with whatever you called the kids profile).

This way I can avoid having the kids see potential artwork/widgets etc with maybe blood etc in them from the main tv shows & movies, & can leave them with the remote without having to worry they press play on horror film or such llike!
