EDIT: Mike, in all seriousness, I want to do more than help test and/or translate skins. I am an IT professional with 20+ years of experience, and while I started my career programming, I have been a manager/executive for a long time. I consider myself a programmer at heart, and, while I know I am not young anymore in IT terms (I am 50), I think I can learn fast.

What would you recommend as a path to learn skinning? I would like to get to the level of being able to help to port MadNox to Krypton, for example. While I am no expert, I understand XML and think I am good at analyzing problems and coming up with sound technical solutions.

after my windows 10 client wake up from standby i have sometimes the problem, that the pvr artwork doesnt update.
I use the skin helper version from git 1.094 and kodi 16.1 and the git version from madnox.
As pvr client i use vu+ plugin.

Do you know about the problem or you have the same problem?

another grandpa... great fit in our oldies group ( i am 20+ XD )

since i am the most greatest coder here ( jaja... was a joke ) i would say, just talk to DoC over pm... but i think for a "beginner" its not so easy to start with transform such a FAT Skin like Madnox to a new Kodi version - but any help is welcome ( and you help aleady realy much )

so, put your dentures back in and LEARN skinning ! hehe

For anyone interested I have created a branch HERE

I only spent about 3 - 4 hours on so it is not done but it should be more than enough to make the skin usable so some fine folks can install, test, and report bugs.

I just realized I forgot to update the include syntax...

So lots of thing would have been broken like all the Widgets and stuff so that is now fixed on my krypton branch

Can you merge the mod from 65pippo?
It works great.
The only thing is that new artworks are partially not wanted by the standby . However, this is not really a problem as existing still appear . In addition, I think that this is " error " by the script "skin.helper.service".
