Release HDHomeRun PVR native addon
It should be noted, though, that the EPG data presented here is the same as the HDHomerun View add-on. I am uncertain about other areas, but for me the guide.json that gets pulled is only 4 hours.

Since new to vr maybe this is how all work but let me try explain. How come the channel numbers are displayed with a channel sequence naming scheme?

Basically my first available channel is 8 but Kodi in the guide makes it 1-8 or 64-185 when it's really 185. Does it need that number before for something else?

Also I see I can edit channel names but why do some default going the station name included next to number but some don't?

I'm a bit late to this add-on but incredible thank you to the developer. I much prefer the Kodi PVR add-on EPG compared to the SD PVR video add-on. As many of us have already paid SD for access to EPG data, is there any way to integrate that into this add-on so that we have more than a few hours of EPG data?

Does anyone have this working on LibreELEC 7.90.003?

Anytime I try to install it I get an error that it cannot find libhdhomerun.so

I noted some questions on this before did not find an answer; how do I extend the timeline in the guide, I only get a few hours. The native guide in the HDHomerun View app extends a few weeks..

I'd like to know this, too.

I can't schedule a recording if I can't find what's coming up.

The guide is limited to 4hrs if you do not use their official add-on. Also think it may have to do with bot purchasing their DVR service. If you want to see further ahead than 4 hours you will have to use am external xmltv.xml file and map channels to corresponding data.

I've paid for the upgrade, and I can record.

My guide is still limited to 4 hours, and 2 of those hours always show past events.

It needs a little work - or info for others on how to get it working.

Seems nit-picking, but yes, I am using their add-on.

I am confirming that the guide is limited to 4 hours, but saying that 2 of those hours on my Kodi system are always in the past.

Not trying to be a jerk. Just clarifying because it seems there was some confusion.

more than likely because the guide data is overhead and costs them money. http://blog.fyitelevision.com/2015/03/hd...geous.html I use schedulesdirect for my guide data with an external xmltv.xml file

Is there any instruction anywhere to set this up?

+1

I had a SD subscription for 1 year. I could get it to work with the NextPVR backend, which pulled into Kodi using the NextPVR plug-in.

I couldn't find any way to make it work with HDHomeRun's plug-in.

Of course, the HDHomeRun link on the fyitelevision.com site is no good. I don't understand why the people at HDHomeRun have to go in and delete every post in their forum that is over 3-months old.

2. Also, using HDHomeRun VIEW, the audio and video are synced up fine. When I watch TV on any channel in the Kodi plugin, the audio slowly creeps up ahead of the video. How do I stop that?

Looks like DVR is on the authors roadmap: https://github.com/kodi-pvr/pvr.hdhomerun/issues/7
FYI; might be a little off-topic but some competition could maybe give a little more insentive to add a record feature to the HDHomeRun PVR native addon for Kodi;

Plex have in partnership with SiliconDust now added native DVR recording support in to Plex Media Server from HDHomeRun network tuners. For more info read:

So I've been having the same issue with this add-on since I originally downloaded it months ago. When I shutdown (or suspend) my system and then power it back on again, TV remains enabled in the settings, but it doesn't show up on the home screen. I have to cycle the enabled switch to make it show up again. I am running an Intel NUC. I have another SolidRun ARM box and it doesn't have this issue. Anyone have a fix?
