Hi marcelveldt, first of all: I like your skin a lot.
My problem is that skin shortcuts seems to not update the path.
For example:
I create a shortcut for a folder: "Movies" in the menu. Everything works fine. Then I add a new movie to this folder. Then I update the library or watchdog do it automatically. When I go the path: Videos: Files: "Movies", the new movie is in there. When I click the "Movies" shortcut in the menu, the new movie is not there.
Another example:
Videos: Video Add Ons: YouTube: "my abos", when i create a shortcut in the menu for "my abos" it shows "my abos" but does not update, when new videos arrives.

I hope you understand the problem, I am from germany and new to this kodi stuff, so sorry when i was unclear.

I have a simple question. Does your skin has support for the duration script? Is that only visible in the library or also in addons?

Hey, just apologies if this is reported somewhere else. I have a widget linking to movies in exodus and when I select a movie, it doesn't always display the sources on the screen. The screen seems to lose focus and I can't select anything.. I hope this makes sense.

Well, been doing some digging. I think dvblink does pass on the thumbnails, its just that the epg that I'm using doesn't get them. I am using PercData, which was the default one that works with dvblink. I've seen some stuff referenced to EPG Collector plugin, but I can't for the life of me figure out how or where I can install it. Might be that is no longer supported or something as everything that I have found is at least a couple years old. I've kind of hit a dead end. What are other people using for backends? Running on a Synology Nas is a must. I couldn't get TVHeadend to find my HDHomeRun tuners for the life of me, another dead end. SiliconDust has their PVR software, but I'm not entirely sure it runs on the synology yet (without crazy linux workarounds). I also tried making my own xmltv file (took me most of the afternoon to get it going), and that seems to be working as it should, but it also does not provide the skin with a usable thumbnail for the series folder. It does import a poster oriented file for each show that you can see when looking through the guide. I'm kind of at a loss. Is there a way I can access an old build of the skin? Watching recorded tv shows is about 90% of what I use kodi for, I don't even have antenna's going to the tv's anymore. Some of the shows I record are local ones that I had made custom artwork for. I know it's still functional right now, but it's not nearly as cool as it once looked. Any help in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

1) I believe that VDR is the only one providing the actual thumb to Kodi. I could be mistaken off course.

2) I'm running Tvheadend myself and it's really stable and working well with my HDHomeRun tuner. Remember you need the 4.1 version of Tvheadend and it will auto dtect your HDHomeRun, no need to fuss around with dvb support, tvheadend will communicate with the HDHomeRun directly.

3) I will look into the request again of adding the fake thumbs back for PVR listings. A few more folks asks to get this support back. I removed it because of stability issues but I might have found a way to put it back without impacting performance.

MPEG4 videos have a colored icon that is not being utilized. I think it's because it's named "mpeg4video" inside of the flags folder.

Problem: Displaying views.....On Forced views page "Forced views for episodes" Big Panel details (59) selection is missing... this is found on all recent versions....

That could be true... Panel views aren't suited for episodes (because episodes have 16:9 landscaped thumb)

Since Krypton has stalled would it be possible to get "Context" added to Widget selections for the next Jarvis 16.1 beta

What do you mean with stalled ? Krypton will be released once it's production ready, currently it's in alpha stage.

Contextmenu on widgets is a feature added in Krypton, so not possible in Jarvis.

I have looked on you tube and found a great skin - Skymashi Magna. How do you get the buttons at the top for the add ons?

1) You are talking about shortcuts but I think you mean widgets here, right ?
2) For movies, point your widget to the Library --> Movies or add some preconfigured movie widget like "recently added movies" or something.
3) To use an addon as widget, and it doesn't auto refresh, enable the auto refresh widget option.

Not for the duration script but for the skinhelper addon, which does practically the same.
Duration is displayed in hh:mm format whenever the duration in minutes is available, so also for addons.

Ok I see it. The problem is that in the netflix viewtype you can only see the total minutes.

Thanks for your fast reply. No, Im talking about just a simple shortcuts, but I could fix my problem. I found a newer version of skin shortcuts, which was not in the repo, that done it for me. A bit strange but whatever. Keep up the good work!

"Some skins cache these sorts of things and this is what you are experiencing"..."Talk to your skin author and see if their is a way to avoid the cache.. this may be a function of another addon that your skin uses as well.. for instance many skins use the addon skin.helper.service which keeps its own cache."
Is there a way that every path reload, everytime go on it?
