For other online streaming, 1080p works via Kodi add-ons that support it, and there may be other Android tablet apps that do as well. For example, YouTube. For rest, I say tablet as Q5/10 Pro, like most Chinese Android boxes, have online streaming capped at 480p.

Actually, for HDR, it's "ultrawide color gamut" (via Rec. 2020 color space). This compared to Blu-ray having Rec. 709.
Honestly, like you, I'm mostly judge-using-your-eyeballs kind of guy. Numbers are one thing, PQ and resolution you see on screen another. I don't have a HDR-capable display yet, but will be getting an Epson HDR 4K eShift (some call it faux 4K) projector this Fall/Autumn.

Is there a way to get the Q10 and put in an HDD with 6 or 8TB and copy movies etc onto it from a mac?
I have a Popcorn Hour A-210 right now and it works great but I'm tired of the UI so I wanna become a HiMediaER
Currently all my HDD's are formated Mac Journaled but I've read about several programs making it possible to read/write/format NTFS on a mac.
