I'm using Kodi on a raspberry pi, and trying to control it via Kore on an Android device.
I've set up the rpi to have a "local" URL, as in "raspberrypi.local" or "osmc.local".
When pinging the local URL, I get the RPI's IP. I can even access the Kodi's remote UI by typing osmc.local:8080 in a browser.
I'd like to be able to change the IP in the Kore's settings for the server to this Local URL, so it'll still work if the IP changes.
Doing that did not work (Kore says it can't find the server).
Suggestions?
Thanks...!
