I say that because I make my own custom animated sfuff and i want to be detected some way with your skin

It will fallback to the movie's title if there's no IMDBID.

Just place your animated gif's for the movies without imdb ID in the [kodi userdate]\Thumbnails\animatedgifs folder.

So for example, for a movie called "This is a supercool Movie" you'll have to place "This is a supercool Movie_poster.gif" inside the animated art directory.
That way it will be auto detected.

Or use the contextmenu off course.

This change will be available in the next BETA version of the skin + skinhelper, will provide it later today or tomorrow.

My issue is that I did not succeed in creating a main menu item Camcorder that only shows me my camcorder recordings.
Editing the "Videos" main menu item shows me textual shortcuts "Add Videos", "Camcorder". I would like the main menu item "Camcorder" to behave the same way as "Movies" does with the movies that are in the sub-dir "films".
When I click on the textaul shortcut "Camcorder" Kodi shows me my camcorder recordings the way Movies are shown, with fanart etc. So, I do not want this extra step.
Furthermore I would like to create a main menu item for my digitized super8 films, behaving the same way as described.

This is normal library content ?

Seems to be an issue with a view, i changed view in the twitch addon and it changed it in episode view too

I can't reproduce this error. Can you create a skin backup in the skin settings and share that with me ?
That way I can test with your exact settings.

I installed the skin from scratch and deleted the textures and thumbnails files, now they look normal again.

View Mode BUGS:

1)
- Go to "Videos Addons" window and set it to "Panel square details" (Maybe it's not so relevant which view, but this is my case)
- Go into one of the Addons (In my case, most of my Addons internal menus are in "List" view mode)
- Go back to the "Videos Addons" window (Not with the "Backspace" in keyboard, but with the "..." item in the addon menu).

* Bug 1: The view mode in "Videos Addons" is changed to "List"
* Bug 2 - When I try to set it back to "Panel square details", it changes it to "List".
So it force me to set it again to "Panel square details", and then it's changed.
* Note: If you go back to the homescreen and go back to "Videos Addons" window (Without doing the operation in "Bug 2", the view mode is back to normal.

Bug regarding to "Netflix" view mode.
When toggle the "Use fixed focus", it changes the view to "Cards".
So it force me to set it again to "Netflix".

* I have to mention that I work with "Force Views" in the Skin Settings (And there is no "Addons" screen option)

Dear Friends,

I am a long time happy user of Titan. Today, following a fresh install of Kodi and Titan (3.6.78), I lost my joy. I use Netflix 2 as homescreen layout.

My problem is that the widget thumbnails has no fanart. All thumbnails except the top large row are now blank. Here is how it looks:

I would appreciate any help.

EDIT: If I change "Layout for widgets" to Poster, then all artwork appear properly. It just doesn't work with landscape type fanart.

EDIT2: The problem is fixed by itself! I didn't understand how.

"target category not found"
Are you familiar with the advanced launcher? Should it work?

I'm using the enhanced view in titan.
I have the submenus like thumbs on left and the widget like thumbs on right. And in the middle show me a big fan art of movie selected in widget. I think if is possible to use trailer or themes of tv tunes instead of fanart in the big rectangle of the midle

is it possible that the home menu first shows up when the skin is ready on start of kodi?
At the moment you start Kodi, get into the main menu and the items and pictures show up little by little. Would be sweet if this happens in the background and for that time you see some fullscreen overlay or so.

OK, I see what you mean.

1) First make sure that you add the directory where your videos are located to the video sources, no need to set the content provider (exclude it from scans). --> Videos --> Files --> Add source

2) Once your file location is added as video source you can create a shortcut to the correct location

3) Shortcuts Editor --> Add --> Video library --> Sources --> Your source --> Create menu item

Tried to reproduce this issues but I couldn't. The view changes back correctly. I've tested it with the YouTube addon.
What did you set in the forced views section ?

I was able to reproduce it 1 out of 20 attempts so it's most possible some sort of race condition or weird flaw.
I don't have a clue what's causing it so I can't fix it, sorry.

In that case your images were not yet in the Kodi texture cache.
After you've browsed your movies a bit in the movie library, the images are added to the cache and you can see them in the homescreen widgets.
Do a search for the Texture cache tool (or something like that) which is able to precache your images to the textures database and/or fix texture cache corruptions.

Hi Marcel, I know I have hammered on this in the past, but I'm still having trouble displaying an image on the Landscape view for Live TV (when viewing the master list of recorded show series). The "Enable PVR Artwork" switch enables or disables use of the artwork of the individual recordings themselves, but doesn't effect anything on the show list. I would love to be able to use the artwork for the shows list, and use the recording artwork provided by my pvr backend for the individual recordings (once upon a time it was like this). If I change to any of the list views it does display the show artwork (the poster files I believe) for the shows and the recordings, but none of the other views. I know you had been having trouble in the past with a workaround that used to do what I am trying to do. I was just wondering if this is working correctly, or if it was a bug. Thanks for all your time!
