I cant figure out how to use a commandline in the .cvaction file. Can somebody please post an example?

anyone know if basic skin that comes with kodi krypton has support for CV?

Estuary skin, when accessing the movie information on the bottom side where the "Play" button is, there is one called "Cinema Mode" that will start the movie using CV.

Note that movie information screen from home screen seems to have some problems with CV right now, hopefully will be fixed with all the new PR's.

I own couple of boxes from himedia q10pro and zidoo X9S, and cv isnt working cause of the external player.

If i could find something to fix this.. I would be in heaven

We're going to start development soon, and will be pushing out an initial fix for that issue, and for trailer scrapers. I know I've said soon for months now. We've had quite a few false starts with the other project our developer is currently working on.

I can answer this one real quick. Yes! Unfortunately, HiMedia isn't one of them (the standard Kodi VideoPlayer and DSPlayer). The HiMedia team will have to fix their wrapper to use Kodi standards in order for CV to work with it. If memory serves, you can choose to use the standard Kodi player on HiMedia boxes, so I'd recommend doing that. Also, with Kodi 17, the player was totally rewritten and isn't the reliable dinosaur we all came to tolerate. It's much more feature rich and incredibly fast. I would highly recommend using it, a ton of work has gone into it.

Problem is that if new kodi player is used. 3d iso doesnt work. So im obliged to use the wrapper

Hey there! So it looks like it's throwing errors because it doesn't understand some characters in the file name.

                                            Error Contents: 'ascii' codec can't encode character u'\xf6' in position 23: ordinal not in range(128)

Whatever character it is, it's showing up as \xf6 in the log. I'm guessing it's an eszett based on the file name 'Ist das Leben nicht sch\xf6n?'. We've got some fixes for characters already in the development version on the CinemaVision website, 1.0.12a1. Try installing that version and post a new log. Worst case, I'll add it as a bug to fix and you can temporarily change the file name.

I tested with another movie and it did work.

The movie I was trying to play was 'It's a Wonderful Life' ('Ist das Leben nicht schön?' in German)

Unfortunately the development build does not work aswell.

Yep, looks like it's an issue with our logging. I've added it to our bug list, and it should be fixed with the next release.

Hi, thanks for the great plugin. It seems the streaming trailer thing is still not working so I guess I need trailers pre-downloaded in my content folder. I have setup this script:

to do it for me regularly, but now it seems I need to trigger the update content function in CV. Is there a way to do this automatically every other day or when KODI starts etc.?
