I was more speaking about a Folder / Path filter for some locally stored video files which maybe don't need to be listed.

Possibly it might even need to be a combination of the two because for example some of my news feeds shows up with the name "English" which might create some type of conflict?

As another suggestion, which I am not even sure if it is possible, but how about being able to add to the Blacklist directly from the Last Played list / context menu? eg: via the context menu for a listed item > click Blacklist > after get an option to choose how to add to Blacklist: via Addon, via Name, via Path, etc?

Still not on the context menu, but the blacklist for addons/forlders and videos/files has been included,

Any number of each separated by a comma

The names entered behave as wildcards, so if we enter "tube", lastPlayed will ignore when we use the youtube addon

Okay I think you've basically nailed it, just one thing I thought of
When I watch an episode of a series, last played knows what series it was and the titelof the episode,
if it knows what series it was can you provide a link to go into the series (through context menu)

so for example
I watch a series called series, of which I watch episode 3
last played shows "series episode 3"
can I not right click on the link and it shows
"series"
then the page for the series comes up

that would be awesome.

Thirded - Would be great to have a list of 'Last Viewed Shows' where if I watch an episode from a TV Series, I can easily have the option of watching the next episode

On Settings / Advanced you have the Blacklist folder and Blacklist video.
There you can put any words separated by commas that will be excluded from the list.
See what is the name that shows up on the addon, and exclude that name.

I have been involved on a big project with no time to do anything else. 5 Star Movies is nearly finished, just needs some polishing and some 'How To' instructions. I expect to be able to do it soon.

Hi, I'm having issues with resume option. While its picking up what I'm watching, mostly from exodus and UWC, 90% of the time the resume feature does not work. It'll many times know the restore point but that doesn't help

Also does this addon pick up music (not music videos) say from music bkx?

Hi Ijm8710,

Kodi keeps trach of the playing point, to allow resuming. Any addon that use this, will resume on the point where we were.
For an addon that does not allow resuming, or that uses information that is kept inside the addon, instead of the kodi info, there is nothing I can do.
It's the coding of the addon, and only they can do it for their addon.

Music that is played through the kodi player, will work. I have just done it, I played a song from my music library. It showed in Last Played, and I could replay it.
Once again, if an addon uses it's own player and does not pass any information to kodi, is impossible to get it in last Played.

But the benefit for a kodi addon to work like that on its own, and still be in Kodi just is the convenience of being next to others to be called.
Because the benefits of working together with other addons do not exist.

Is there a way to kick out the tv-shows from list? (I don't want to remove them manually)

On Settings-Advanced you can set a Blacklist. Anything you watch where part of the name match what is there will not be listed.
You can have several names, separated by commas.

Blacklist Addon will filter the addon user to play, Blacklist folder the group name and Blacklist Video the name of the video played.
Hopo this is what yo need.

I've thought about a nice feature that will be great to have in Last Played(LP).

Instead of creating a way to just delete certain videos (by words) why not extend that feature to create a folder for those words.

Example: Say I use youtube addon and watch videos with names "simpsons episode 3"
I create a folder within LP, and ask to place anything with name "simpsons" inside folder.

The way I see it work is using context menu inside your addon and then select create a folder. which then asks for a name and what you want to place inside the folder.

Or maybe do it similar to how you done blacklist functionality.

Even if you are to busy to add a feature like this, what are your thoughts?

P.s. you can see how Spoyser adds folders within his addon "Super Favourites"

Incase you decide to do some more work on this amazing addon I have a feature suggestion

have a download option. We know the location of the stream, it shoudnt be that hard to be able to download that stream?
If possible this would be a big deal since you are able to donwload from any addons that dont allow downloading to local.
