I join the chorus with a BIG thank you! A heartfelt thank you, really.

To clarify: using MPC-HC and playing back a DVD ISO (or launching VIDEO_TS.IFO) brings the regular DVD Menu (using DVD Navigator on x64). I honestly don't remember using this on DSPlayer but are you saying that on x86 DSPlayer behaves as MPC-HC and on x64 it can't handle it? Couldn't it use DVD Navigator as well?
Also, what's libdvd? I understand it's a library, but do you have a link for the specific one you are referring to?

Thanks!

@ashlar As far as i noticed in previous versions of DSPlayer x64 the libdvdnav.dll was not compiled as a x64 version. If you have tried to play a DVD iso or the video_ts.ifo the x64 version crashed because of a non x64 dll. I could see the error in the log. If you have played the same iso in the DSPlayer x32 the DVD menu worked fine.
As x64 is marked as unstable and beta it was not an issue for me. This was an error for Kodi videoplayer not for the DSPlayer. The user asked that he wants to use the "regular" Kodi player. MPC-HC have their own compiled versions of the dlls. So MPC-HC works in x64 bit

The user aked "so when I try to switch to regular player to play a dvd it crashes kodi everytime. I am on windows 10 64 bit."
And i just noticed i didn't ask the user which version of DSPlayer he is using the x86 or x64 bit. I guess i assumed he uses the x64bit. He only said which OS he uses. Damn me. My fault.

I have just checked DSPlayer 17.3 and the DVD menu works in both versions. So i guess the libdvdnav is now compiled in x64bit too.

yes, it is:

file "c:\Program Files\Kodi\kodi.exe"
c:\Program Files\Kodi\kodi.exe: PE32+ executable (GUI) x86-64, for MS Windows

file "c:\Program Files\Kodi\libdvdnav.dll"
c:\Program Files\Kodi\libdvdnav.dll: PE32+ executable (DLL) (console) x86-64 (stripped to external PDB), for MS Windows

After downloading this update 17.3, when I open Kodi and go to system, it says Kodi version 17.1. Why is this?

After downloading, you need to actually install it. Did you do that, and just forgot to mention it? Big Grin

Worked fine for me on 2 computers... Windows 7 and Windows 8.1

Many mahalo's aracnoz for the new 17.3 build! You da man!! Your efforts are much appreciated!!! One thing I was really hoping for though was .mpls play support in DSPlayer. I've asked about it before, is this not possible? I'd love to be able to play the few titles I have in my library with obscured playlists without having to change settings in Kodi and play them w/MPC-HC. If it's not possible just say the word and I'll stop asking...

Another small bug I've noticed when configuring LAV Audio for DSPlayer in Kodi, when selecting "Open property page" and then selecting the Mixing tab in LAV Audio, after enabling Mixing and selecting 5.1 for "output speaker configuration" and saving, when going back to Audio decoder properties for DSPlayer, the same setting for "output speaker configuration" is blank (no selection). If I then select 5.1 for "output speaker configuration" in Audio decoder and then go back to the Mixing tab in the LAV Audio properties page the "output speaker configuration" is blank (no selection). Weird huh? Just to be safe I've selected 5.1 for mixing in the LAV Audio properties page and not worried about what it says (or doesn't say) in Audio decoder. Just thought I'd let you know in case you wanted to look into what's causing that weirdness. Anyway everything else is great. Thanks again!
