Release [TSDB] - The Sports Database Video Scraper (metadata.thesportsdb.python)
#61
Hello everyone,

First, thanks a lot for all your work on this scraper !

I tried to scrap some UFC events but it doesn't work , it's weird because it shows me the "main poster" inside the playlist but it's empty Sad

Here is how i named the path :

Code:
C:\Videos\Sports\UFC\Season 2015\189 2015-06-11 Mendes vs. McGregor USA Las Vegas.mkv

Did i do something wrong maybe in the scraper settings?

Thanks for your help ! Blush

edit: succeeded to get it work , thanks to the previous comments !

Yep you will need to use the round number in the filename. I know its a bit confusing but its a limitation with the Kodi TVshow structure.

I've added the Sports folder source to my Kodi and set the content as TV Shows. But now they show up between my normal TV Shows. Is there any way I can exclude them from the main TV Show screen?

/edit: Already fixed it. Smile Was a combination of skin setting and PlexKodiConnect.

Am I missing it or there's no UEFA Champions League in TSDB?
Maybe I should ask in their forum but it seems not very active there.

UCL is on the docwra's to-do list (and also all the rest of european competitions), but needs a completely redisign of the DB structure.

Why can't i get it to scrape with any of my sports files?
I use this folder structure for Formula1:
\SPORTS\Formula1\Formula1.2006\03.Australian.GP.2006\Formula1.2006.Australian.Grand.Prix\Formula1.2006.Australian.Grand.Prix.avi

Since the link in the first post to the test library is broken, i've uploaded a fixed link

https://www.thesportsdb.com/Sports_fake_video_files.zip

Check that out to see how it works, I think you need "round" in the filename for this scraper.

@docwra

Do you want that added to the first post?

So its not possible without changing the filename? Sad

I named a file "Spanish La Liga 2018-03-10 Eibar vs Real Madrid.mkv" and get info from Malaga vs Barcelona match (took place same day).

I seem to be having issues scraping correctly.

I have it set up as follows: TV\Sports\WWE\Season 2007\WWE 2007-01-28 Royal Rumble 2007 and it's still showing incorrect. It also mentions it's scraping from the themoviedb at the top, despite me selecting thesportsdb for the folder. Is the issue that I have it inside my main TV folder with my other shows? I'd really like to get this working correctly.
