try clearing the simple cache...
Clear SimpleCache by deleting -- Userdata / Addon-data / Script.module.simplecache / Simplecache.db and reboot. You may get a one time error on next boot from skin helper service, but the cache will be regenerated automatically and it won't happen on subsequent boots.
FYI: it takes a couple of minutes to rebuild, so select a movie (fanart may not cycle), wait 30 seconds, select something else, then reselect the first item. This is a test, and shouldn't be needed typically, but since we're testing...

I get no fanart background when i playing music. Clear logo and banner works. I get also fanart when browsing though my music library. Did i overseen something?

Make sur you have have enable show fanart in background in skin settings / Music OSD.
Have you enable extrafanarts or not ?
You debug log is not full, there is no trace of launch of music vizualisation.

No error in log for that. Try to delete your simplecache.db in userdata/addon_data/script.module.simplecache
Go in your music library for generate a new DB with extrafanarts.
Make sure you have latest Skin Helper Service and his addons.

I have it. I must install visualization for example milkdrop. Then i get fanart backdrop. Very strange.

Request: As an old WMC user i would like to see in timeline epg coloured categories for movie, sports, news, kids, specials and maybe other.
Then i am missing bigger font size like in mod v1.

There is already coloured epg. See folder https://github.com/Guilouz/repository.gu...epg-genres
