I have just bought a fire stick with alexa voice control & have been trying to download kodi 17.3.
the instructions say type in http://kodi.tv/download
the http:// is already on the screen....... but the pop up keyboard has the alphabet etc but no forward slash button /
can someone please explain to a geriatric 82 year old how I can enter this symbol to achieve the download

What instructions and where are you downloading it from and what is the hardware the pop up keyboard is on.

I'm assuming your keyboard looks like the image below, if so try pressing the #$% button which should give you access to the / symbol
