Release NHL TV™
Hey Scott,

So if I go to eracks GitHUb site and download the new update to a USB key, will that work?

Do I have to unzip it or anything? I am planning on just putting the USB in my box and then trying to update it that way. ANything else I should know?

I am really looking forward to hopefulyl watching some leafs hockey tonight.

I was finally able to solve the problem I was having with streams just not starting. I had this in the error log whenever it happened:

ERROR: CCurlFile::Open failed with code 404 for http://md-akc......

I noticed that I had the stream quality set to the lowest setting (800 kbps I believe). After switching that to the best available the streams started up perfectly. Maybe that stream rate is no longer available. Hopefully this will help at least someone.

Yeah if you already have the add-on installed, just add the repository zip file, and if you already have automatic updates turned on for your add-ons the NHL add-on will install the new version right away. It's pretty slick. I'm still having no luck with my iPad, but Windows 10 PC works great.

Yes Go Leafs Go! lol

Thanks Scott, I hope this works.

Yup I have had the add on for a long time and I have auto update turned on. So I am just going to put hte USB in and go try to find the zip file and run it right?

Thanks dude

Yep just go to Addons and choose install from zip file. This will load the new repository so your add on can find the update. If it doesn’t work, try uninstalling the add on and reinstall from this new repository.

Hi guys,

I have installed the NHL TV app from the Kodi repository and am running Krypton (or however you spell it).

I am not sure which version I am using but I will check.

I am getting the message to ensure my username and password are correct, which they are. I am using email and password (not a username and not Rogers).

I have tried re-entering my email and password several times. I have app set to auto update but tried doing it manually too - same result.

Please help! Thanks.

(edit) running an Amazon Fire TV box with Kodi 17.1
(edit) I have updated to Krypton 17.4 - same result

Discovered this thread a couple days ago because I was just having terrible problems watching as the night went on. I updated to erack's repo, found here, which I otherwise would've never found. I'm still not sure it fixed my issues which was basically the 7ET games would play well but later in the night it got sluggish and almost impossible to watch. I have 100 Mbps down. I'm on a Fire TV. I changed from Best Available to 5600.

Finally it did get better when I thought I'd try SPMC after reading Levitate's post above. It's been way smoother on SPMC. Seems to be a lighter weight fork or something. So thank you to Levitate for inspiring me to try that. It still buffers here and there but that's par for the course I guess. I can live with that. As long as it doesn't take over the entire experience. Thanks for having a thread like this available. I was thinking there was nothing out there to provide support for or troubleshoot this app.

Forgive me if there's a stupid simple answer to this please, the newest release remains 10.3 on your repo from my end. Can you let me know if this is my ignorance or if maybe you haven't pushed it out?
