Hi guys,

I have installed the NHL TV app from the Kodi repository and am running Krypton (or however you spell it).

I am not sure which version I am using but I will check.

I am getting the message to ensure my username and password are correct, which they are. I am using email and password (not a username and not Rogers).

I have tried re-entering my email and password several times. I have app set to auto update but tried doing it manually too - same result.

Please help! Thanks.

I have a strange issue.

Hi erak. Loving the app, but I am having some serious buffering/vido issues. Playing it on the Nvidia Shield (2017) from Canada. Most live games seem fine, but my archived games pause about every 20-30 seconds, then try to buffer, then the sound restarts but the video is frozen and wont restart. I tried increasing cache in kodi, buffering, made sure not an internet issue and its not (I have fibre 150mbps) and made sure it was not a NHL Gamecenter issue (Works fine on other devices via web browser). Let me know if you need any other info.

Have the exact same problem. Did you come up with something?

The game you were trying to play was from pre-season, NHL.tv only offered a limited selection of games avaliable at the time.
If you are still getting errors for current games, it may be with the CDN settings. It seems like the Akamai server works OK.

Have you played with the CDN settings? Try with either Akamai or Level3 to see if any work. Also, archive games from more than 2 days ago apparently have issues from the server end so this cant be fixed.

  Have you tried d/ling eracnaphobias repo (on page one) and installing from there? His repo shows the 10.9 update but the nhl.tv addon from the Kodi repository is still only showing 2.24 therefore that one won't work. Not sure whats up with that.

Having issues on both my platforms, Android boxes and Windows 10 PC.

This is probably somewhere in the 102 pages of posts but the forum won't let me search for a three letter search term so I have to ask: does the addon have DVR controls for live games?  Can a start a game from the beginning after puck drop and then fast forward through commercials & intermissions until I catch up?   This would be during live games, not archives.

This is currently not possible, but may be in future versions of Kodi.

Everything worked perfect last year. Tried watching a game this year (still using v2.24), and none of the video was smooth (tried all of the resolutions). It typically glitches for a second at the beginning, and then the video is all jittery (audio is fine).

I even factory reset my Gbox Q, loaded the latest firmware, and downloaded v.10.9. Sometimes it might work fine for 10 seconds, but it's still jittery and hard to watch. It's the same way on recaps and game highlights, so I don't think it's a streaming issue (I have 150mbs down).

Any thoughts? Running Kodi 17.4.

Hope there is a quick fix for this.

So I ended up trying NHL Gamecenter Mod 0.9.1 linked to above, and it was behaving the exact same way. Since it's a different addon, it's made me believe that the addon isn't the issue.

I just loaded SPMC on my Android box, installed NHL.tv v2.24, updated to v10.9 (I seem to have to install the official first), and it's streaming without any stutter now. I wonder what is causing it on Kodi :\

LOL... I don't understand this at all.. YOur win 10 kodi 17.4 works fine?

I have amazon fire TV box (version 1) with Kodi 17.4 and latest NHL.TV (oct 10) app works great on it.
However neither NHL.TV (oct 10) nor NHL Gamecenter Mod 0.9.1 works on win 10 kodi 17.4 boxes.   I might try 18.0 beta on another win 10 box I have to see if it makes any difference.

BTW.. I'm rogers customer
