Not sure i did answer my own question... i tested standard Estuary which works fine which may have suggested it was skin related.

So this is a know issue with Android then ?
It's not an issue, up/down on PVR fullscreen it's to see what's on other channels, if you want to go to a selected channel you must press OK. To switch channels you must use Page Up/Down and not just up/down on keyboard.
ok which i agree with... but i'm not sure you understand the issue that i'm describing and if i'm not being clear then i apologise. When i select up  (the down key seems to work as far as i can see) the OSD displays the channel info (as expected), however, clicking up again does not (appear) to do anything, as you describe it should display the next channels EPG data,  however if i select "oK" it changes the channel e.g the key presses are being recorded but the OSD isnt displaying.... does that make sense?

i cant replicate it all the time though, i'm trying to work out why this is and whats the difference!
Not sure it's been asked for a feature request but I'd like to be able to add background images to submenu items.

Did you check the PVR settings menu, there is an option to "approve channelswitching with oke". Maybe you have to disable that.
hey,

is it posible to have: widget name | youtube chanel name - video name on homescreen widgets? always need to guess what channel a video is from or play it to see Smile

I have checked all setting, although the setting you refer to changes how channel switching works, i have no problem with how the channel switches. The problem is what is displayed on the OSD when pressing up or down (or in this case the issue happens when pressing up for the 1st time when Live TV is first started)... I shall create a little video to help illustrate the issue when i get some time.. as i say i think the issue is Android related and possibly to do with the PVR lookup option (i 100% can not replicate this with programs that did not have artwork)  but standard Estuary is working correctly it would be interesting to understand if other Android users could replicate this....
Anyone having issues with getting genre colours on PVR guide? Can't seem to get any colours irrespective of the setting.
I have noticed since the last update live tv information window, the progress playback / remaining bar no longer works / show, can this be fixed ? it worked ok before the last update as i have it as a backed up for a fresh start image, and when i update to the latest skin no progress bar ?

This issue seems not skin related.

In PVR Guide, there is a setting for that in side menu.

Ironically I was sitting there with my phone ready to record the issue last night..... I tried 10 times!!! But could not reproduce it! I was messing around with my EPG grabbers on my backend at the weekend, which is the only thing I have changed... I wonder if the one I had been using brought back some dodgy/illegal characters or something that caused the issueHuh still strange however I couldn't replicate it on standard Estuary or on any non Android platform.... its working now, so not going to lose sleep over it!
Hi Guilouz

I had two suggestions, but I don't know if it can be done from your end or Kodi end.

1) An option to hide the watched items (this option can be at the sidebar where you select views), this will be very helpful for users with big libraries like me, one of my folders have 1,200 movies (watched 80% of this folder) and another 600 (watched 40%) and another 500 (watched 30%) . I used a player with this option and I liked it.

2) Maybe you can add and make the subtitle dialog box (where you can toggle the language, Download subtitles) to show the subtitles already available in the video like many other media players do, currently the only way to know is to toggling the subtitle language, sometimes I download subtitles when there is already a subtitle because I forget to toggle the language to see what subs are already in the file.

Thanks for your great work.

What do I need to do to get that progressbar of tv channels shown (post 2826)? Is it the widget appearance (i.e. banner, genre etc) I need to change?

Nothing to do, progress bar are displayed directly on widgets, just your TV Guide must be up to date.
