Awesome thank you. When restore... wipe and restore or just add?

Example 1.
If android has addon1 and backup has addon1 and addon2. Does restore add addon2 and leave addon1 as is or does it overwrite addon1 and add addon2?

Example 2.
If android has addon1 and backup has addon2 and addon3. Does the restore remove addon1 and add addon2/3 or does it just add addon2/3 and leave addon1 as is?

An adbLink backup is a complete snapshot of a Kodi filesystem and restore completely replaces the Kodi filesystem on the target.

I'm new to this and I have been able to copy my build to other fire stick that I have. I am now not able to restore a build I have because I am getting a error "Cannot restore while org.xbmc.kodi is running!".

You need to close Kodi on the device being restored. You can do this with adbLink's Utility Menu function "Stop Application".

OK. So I stopped the application and continued to restore. After restoration the Kodi build on the fire stick is just Kodi without the addons.

A restore replaces your Kodi filesystem with a backed up Kodi filesystem, usually the contents of /sdcard/Android/data/org.xbmc.kodi. If you're having backup/restore issues with an official addon from the Kodi repository you can post details here. Otherwise, send an email to jocala@jocala.com

Should I post the kodi log? Because it seems the addons were installed but I had to individually enable each one. Even then it doesn't look the same.
