j5005 would be the one to get atm, unless you need more CPU power for non-kodi stuff

Thanks for the reply so non of the 3355,4005 and 3455 are not enough for deinterlacing on HD channels? If i cant fint 5005 in my region is G3220T good enough, if i decide i can live with the fan cooler?

iirc @fritsch has a j4005 and it can do HQ deinterlacing fine, but the cpu gets quite hot

MCDI Deinterlacing is no problem also not heat wise (J3455, J4250 and all others can do it without issues). Upscaling on my J4205 (Apollo Lake) from 576i to 4k with Lanczos3 Optimized makes a looot of GPU heat, but it's capable to do so.
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

Thanks for your input @fritsch, so to be clear. If i want to stay fanless I can change my poor j1900 and get J3350/3450 board and get deinterlacing of HD channels as long as i dont upscale? If i want to upscale better get some T cpu on 1150 like G3220T and put cooler on it. Right?

If you run kodi in 1080p on your 4k TV both have no issues. Kodi will upswitch fo 4k.

The first code box under section 0.) has a URL mixed in the code itself. Thought you might want to know and fix the formatting....

No. Problems need to be solved -> trac.kodi.tv including debug log

Hi @fritsch

I can not try Librelec because my nuc does not go (and I do not understand the reason) with the USB boot.
Today I updated to this release 2:18.0+git20180527.0201-0cc5e0f-0bionic and now it seems to work all well as before except the movies in E-AC3 that are out of sync: my AVR go well in e-AC3 But the audio comes 1 second after

Good - we have a bugreport for this EAC3 already ...  can you post a 100 MB sample of this file using dd?
