Solved TMDb issue "No information found for item"
#1
Hello,

Three of the movies are not being scrapped properly from TMDb. I'm getting following errors in kodi.log.
Code:
No information found for item 'smb://blah/Thor.Ragnarok.(2017)/Thor.Ragnarok.(2017).1080p.mkv', it won't be added to the library.
No information found for item 'smb://blah/Suicide.Squad.(2016)/Suicide.Squad.(2016).1080p.mkv', it won't be added to the library.
No information found for item 'smb://blah/Guardians.of.the.Galaxy.Vol.2.(2017)/Guardians.of.the.Galaxy.Vol.2.(2017).1080p.mkv', it won't be added to the library.

TMDb links:
https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/284053-thor-ragnarok
https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/297761-suicide-squad
https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/283995-...e-galaxy-2

I have bunch of other movies with the same naming convention. They're working fine. Only these three are not working.

I've checked that there are no blank chars in file names neither in directory names.
I tried to delete the files, clean the library and re-upload them. No luck :/
Each directory contain one movie + subs. Content scanning is set per directory.

Is this issue on TMDb side or i have something broken somewhere?

Thank you in advance for your hep

Alex

We need the full Debug Log thanks. Three lines are not helpful at all.

I have no idea what happened but after i enabled the debug logging and re-scanned the sources all three movies were detected just fine and are now in library. No restart, no update, nothing. Seems to be a coincidence and TMDb just had some issues yesterday when i was getting the errors. Or maybe someone fixed the details? Duno.

Anyway thank you for swift reply. Next time i will upload debug logs automatically.

They are all in the TMDB database, so it will be your file naming that is probably confusing things.

1. Antoinette In The Cevennes (2020)
2. Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway (2021)
3. Evangelion 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time (2021)
4. Coda (2021)

Try just renaming your files to those namings above (plus the file extension) and get rid of all the torrent rubbish from them.

Or failing that use a parsing NFO (wiki) file using the url's above.

@mitian

Then we need a Debug Log which captures you trying to scrape these movies.
