now my remote is acting wierd again. A reboot/powercycle will help. here are the log files.

hope this helps a bit.
@ramis52 Thanks for the info!

The IR receiver indeed is doing weird things. It sends nonsense data (even when it seems to be working) and the ir-ctl -r output shows that it somehow "forgot" it's timeout setting.

Please do another test with the build you've been using (any current build up to and including #0628 will do):

use the IR remote for a while, verify that it's working fine, then ssh in, run
Code:
ir-ctl -r
then press a button and post the output (no need to stop kodi etc). Please also upload dmesg again.

Tonight's build will contain a patch that disables the IR timeout optimizations for your IR receiver. Please test and report back if this build fixes the issues. If it fails, run the "ir-ctl -r" test and post dmesg and journal.

so long,

Hias

here a the outputs

I ll try newest build now and report back when its acting wierd again.

(2018-06-08, 19:06)germa18 Wrote: the latest working build = #0407
other newer build have this trouble = since #0415
I think i have found the problem, it's related to expression after the url that cause the bug
Exemple :
Link not working on LE : https://proxy-035.ix7.dailymotion.com/se...os_stail=1
Link working on LE : https://proxy-035.ix7.dailymotion.com/se...ac_hd.m3u8
The only difference is the expression after the .m3u8 is misinterpreted by kodi [#cell=core&qos_stail=1] , all the links on this plateform/website are generated like that, so to correct that we must force kodi to not took anything after .m3u8
original link of the video : https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x6law2...ist=x5uiot
You can easily reproduce this, i hope my explaination is understable Wink

Can you post a complete debug log from #0607 (or whatever the latest test build is at the time) which shows you accessing the "not working" url?

Your non-working url is working for me (using JSON):
text:
texturecache.py playw "https://proxy-035.ix7.dailymotion.com/sec(x012cba8530cb5d575ec783f5b1b6ce0)/video/811/775/398577118_mp4_h264_aac_hd.m3u8#cell=core&qos_stail=1"
which might suggest it is an add-on issue or something else specific to your setup.
It's been a long time that i was stuck with #0407 firmware because of this issue and today i decided to test the #0628 build and now all works without any change by my side
but i noticed that in the changelog in the #0628 build that inpustream has been rework (with the change of kodi api), so there were a bug like i told you before
glad that all working fine now Smile

@remis52

What happen if you turn your lights off?

Sometimes the IR sensors devices do weird things when lights on, because the frecuency filter circuit is falling or it just blown up, if it stops doing weird things or if the frequence of them decreases, your sensor is faulty, if it do the same things with lights off, it is a hw-sw realtionship issue...

Need a little help for downgrading from #703 to #702.

Copied the LibreELEC-RPi2.arm-9.0-Milhouse-20180702233607-#0702-g6bd47f0.tar to the update folder on my sdcard.
Reboot but nothing happens. No update process. Boots to Kodi #703 and crashes with a reboot.

Edit: Solution is copy *.tar to the .update folder not update folder on the sdcard!

Installed #0703 and kodi crash after short period of idle inactivity after 1st boot  kodi crashlog

kodi does not appear to be constantly crashing for me with #0703 so will attempt to use normally this evening to watch local media and internet streams.
RPi4, (LibreELEC 11.0) hdmi0 -> Philips 55PUS7304 4K TV, hdmi1 -> Onkyo TX-SR608 AV Receiver
The PR that is causing the crash will be reverted in #0704.

Thnx for all the hard work!!

I can not use media files within RAR, even with Archive support (999.1.0.0) and RAR archive (999.2.0.3).
I'm running build # 702 on a RPi2, but I've had this problem since I switched to the Milhouse-9.0 update channel.
Is it a known bug or is there something wrong on my side?
