hellow.
who can help?
I want to put kodi on a single board computer.
but there is one problem, I need to play 1080p Hi10P video.
the hardware support does not work for Hi10P?
can anyone tell what better to take for Hi10P, like raspberry pi or similar.

None of the RPi's has the CPU power to software decode 1080p Hi10P
You need something that has the CPU Ponies (decent CPU package) to CPU Software decode the non Standard, "Anime Scene" invented Hi10P video compression format.
Hi10P aka 10bit Anime aka 10bit H.264 they are all interchangeable names.
CPU Ponies capable hardware will not be dirt cheap, you are looking at:
- Intel, like an i3 I would think if it's high bitrate 1080p Hi10P
- Apple TV 4K
- NVIDIA Shield.

the old celeron chromebox could play 1080p Hi10 perfectly well (M004U). They're about 5 years old now but you might find one on fleabay cheap.

Lots of Rockchip devices support Hi10p if the manufacturer implemented it correctly.
For low cost devices there are TICTID, ROC CC, Rock64 RK3328 that support LibreELEC and can play Hi10p hardware decoded fine using less than 30% CPU usage.
For high end devices, I just implemented Hi10p hardware decode support into the Khadas Edge RK3399 Android Pie firmware I built.
Amlogic devices unfortunately don't have hardware support for Hi10p and it needs to be software decoded which even the S922x has problems with.
