Is there a way to get small banners for tv shows again? It seems that a lot of view options seem to be missing. Also, can the white border around covers be removed?

What are the aura views, I see in the settings. (un)ticking them does not seem to have effect, or am I missing something?

I do unsterstand that, but clicking through the views I did not see many differences, but perhaps I should take a better look...

Am I correct it only swaps the position of the plot and the posters in the poster showcase and landscape showcase views? Isn't it just easier to add those views to the view list, instead of making it another option in the skin settings?

Yes, the option makes the showcase views use the same alignment as Aura.
No, it's a bad idea to have many views as it makes the skin heavier. Every view that is created is loaded into memory and then shown depending on a visibility condition. Having an option to instead swap views makes the skin much lighter - this is the same reason why I had options in AZ1 for enabling certain parts of views rather than just have separate views for the slightly modified view.

I'm not maintaining the repo, drinfernoo is. He has said he will try to do nightly updates. Github will always have the most recent release and repo will always lag slightly behind. You can always install from github if you want the most recent release.

listitemhelper supports movies only and somehow the last ratings that it displays on movies will display on tvshows, it doesn't clear the cache

A couple of requests regarding subtitles. When i already have subtitles for one of my movies, if I started playing the movie, the sub is enabled as default as it should be, but if I suddenly realized that I assigned a wrong subtitle to the file and if I press the OSD subtitle icon it just enables/disables subtitles, and if I want to use a subtitle add-on and search for another one, I have to go to OSD/Subtitle settings/Download subtitle which is kind of cumbersome. Maybe instead of using OSD Subtitle icon to enable/disable subs, how about to use it to search for subs? Like AZ1 does.

The second request, would it be possible to display the file name as AZ1 does while searching for subtitles to have a hint of which subtitle from the search results would fit better to my file?

If no subs are available, the subs button searchs for subs. If subs are available, then it cycles through the available ones.

You can change the subs button to open the subtitle options directly by enabling:
Skin Settings > Video / Music > Subtitles button opens subtitle settings.

Good idea, done. I'm checking against ListItem.DBType so that it works on the home screen also. Using listitem helper for all ratings if available.

Hello jurial , can u kindly add a "Display extrafanart" option here in the settings because I have tried configuring artist slideshow in many ways, even by consulting its creator, but it will grab remote art also along with local art which dissatisfies me. I want just the local art to be displayed one after the other when music is playing. maybe perhaps if you add a "display extrafanart" option here, it could solve the problem

This looks good. I'll add some of this functionality.

There should be a "rotten" icon already for movies under 59% (tomato splat icon). The spilt popcorn icon is for user ratings which I don't think are possible using skinhelper/omdb. Do you have some other way of getting the rt user rating? 

All those things are fine, but I really wish there was a way to locally store all those information that skin helper service grabs because everytime I load Kodi, the service takes about 10 seconds to load the ratings for each media item 

Do you have all 3 API keys added? With all three API keys, lookup is almost immediate on my system. 

I thought only OMDb api provides the ratings. what has fanart and tmdb got to do with it?

I love your theme. The only thing I miss is the first themes. Home screen widget. I rather like to see the posters and descriptions. Unless I'm missing a setting? That being said theme is super solid! Nailed it
