Ah you're right. No it doesn't! However the first button on the Info screen for TV shows in that skin is "browse" which brings you to the season level which imo makes more sense.

EDIT: Nevermind that's what the Play button does in this skin too!

I'm not using any widgets directly on the home screen, no - I like a super clean front / landing page. I am using submenu structure though for recently added etc. and widgets under there using the suggested tweak I mentioned doesn't effect their layout or position.

Which homescreen widget setting are you referring to specifically. Just had a tinker with it, and any setting I put up for home widgets etc. are still all centralised. The below pic is adding the "recently added movies" widget directly to my home menu "All Movies" item. All it's seemed to do is shift the menu to the top to accommodate the widget, which is still centralised.

Your second picture is more what i am looking for. Although menu items on the bottom. Yours is centered it seems where mine is way off. Here is mine. I am trying to get it more like the classic AZ look.

Thanks for pointing that out actually - I need to change the text of that button to browse if a tvshow. Play is definitely not clear in that instance!

Will it default back to fanart that way?

Edit: nope. Please make it optional, it now reverts back to the 'general' series thumb/landscape Sad
Not to keep whining, I really love the skin, but I do wish this wasn't changed (or we were at least given the option to choose which art to use by default (or revert back to fanart when I delete the thumb art)).
The fanart fallback with clearlogo works perfectly here. Are you even using the Kodi library or just one of the many banned video addons? If so, why should the skin developer workaround all the mistakes of the video addon developers!?

Mate, relax. I've been flat-out with work, working 14hrs days on the weekend and staying back until around 8pm every night. The landscape update was 4 days ago (on my one day off this week...)

Also, if you delete the landscape art from the tvshow then it wont show... I have no idea what you are trying to do, but on my machine as soon as I delete the the tvshow or movie landscape art, the skin reverts back to the old method of showing clearlogo overlaid on fanart.

If this is not working, please tell me in clear and precise steps how to reproduce the issue so that I can actually fix it. The skin is in "Alpha" - that means things should be expected to break and I am relying on users to report bugs so that I can fix any issues that arise rather than just adding options to change things back to an earlier state.
Sorry about that, didn't mean to show disrespect. I thought you hadn't seen my post Smile
I use Emby for my media collection and as soon as I delete the thumb art it doesn't revert back to anything in Kodi. So it's in Kodi's cache I guess, but as soon as I delete the art manually, it reverts back to the series (general/overall) thumb and therefore doesn't show the fanart.

hello guys and thank you for your incredible work jurialmunkey.

Everything is great and working good but I just have a very stupid question: where I'm suppose to have a view like that (looper photo)? I cant find the spotlight view anywhere Smile

I guarentee this has been asked already. But there is 104 pages!!

When will this appear in the Kodi repository? I can't get Git Browser working on my Andorid TV box thingy, so can't download it. I have it on my PC - it is AMAZING.

Am about to try out Aura on the Android TV box. But I am a long time fan of Artic Zephyr.

@jurialmunkey

Is there a way to force AZ2 to use landscape art with the title in it?

Nevermind. Stupid question  Smile

I think the problem here is that Emby stores landscape.jpg as thumbnail.jpg (this is a guess.) Plex Kodi Connect does the same thing and so in my case it's always falling back to fanart+logo. An option/ability to use thumbnail.jpg for landscape and poster.jpg for for portrait would likely solve this issue. I ran into this issue while making changes to how Kodi displayes metadata in Android TV's channels on the home screen.
The Android TV is like one of those ‘Kodi Box’s you get on eBay. So I don’t have any way to download from Github in a normal browser.
I was hoping the Git Browser addon would allow me to download from Github. But it doesn’t work.

Still interested in an answer to my query; when will Zephyr 2 be added to Kodi (like Aura is)

Does your Android tv have a usb slot?, you could download onto a usb drive, then install from that drive?
