I love this project but I have a suggestion that I do not know if it was mentioned before, it would be possible to specify in the movie library the genre of each movie like action / adventure ... ??

Thank you.

This would be based on what scraper you use when importing content to your library.

Use the Trakt add-on from the official Kodi Repository in order to sync watched statuses and library to and from your collection.

Fine. Working for me. Thanks.
But I just realized that this isn‘t what i‘m looking for. What I thought of, was kind of recommendations of shows and movies not in my library based on selected show or movie. (doesn’t skin helper widgets provides those lists?) Maybe those items shoud be selectable and open extended info dialog for more information.

And ideas on this?

No it only provides local content. No way that I know of to get recommendations from online (if you know of a skin that does please point me to it as I would love to have online recommendations) - online recs for person or studio are possible, but not anything else.

If you enable the use extended info option in the dialog for enabling info lists then it should open extended info rather than local info when clicking on something

Thank you very much for answering.
I think that I explained badly, if I enter information about each movie if it shows the genre.
What I mean is without having to enter the information of each movie.

This is what I mean, that puts Action / thriller / science fiction ... that this doesn't work for me.

Thank you.

The "showcase" viewtype displays genre. You can change views from the menu at the top of the screen.

Pressing up from "basic" homescreen will show the screen in your image.

thanks jurialmunkey but from what I understand you, it is only available in the "showcase" type of view ?? and this could not be done with the other types of view?

Thank you

I would also be interested in seeing this info in more views...

Maybe if more metadata can be shown in more views, the highlighted section here might be able to scroll horizontally? That would maybe be a nice compromise between "overcrowded" views and more metadata visibility?

Having infoline scroll is abit annoying, I want to be able to glance quickly and move along with my selection. Now if we could select whats included in infoline (rating, premier date, container item count ect ect) as we do with furniture?

Thank you again JM, fantastic skin as usual
@jurialmunkey

Not sure if it's a bug. When small landscape is selected, alphabet search is no longer available.

Yeah definitely no inline scrolling - I try to avoid it as much as possible.
User customisable infoline is too difficult to be worthwhile. There are a number of complex conditions needed to make it all work properly depending on the content of the item.

Yep definitely a bug. Should be fixed now. Smile

I didn't notice this in the past I maybe think it was after the aspect update recently.

Normal square size icon have a scaling issue, small square don't.

A picture is worth a thousand words.

@jurialmunkey  -  I guess this has crossed your mind, but how about landscape.jpg in sets view?
