Yes I am using master branch.
@guibaa, You can easily replace the current keymap by the old one from Memphiz fork if you prefer the old one ;-)
thanks for the info sy6sy2 but can you tell me where i can find this keymap?
The old Keymap file is here https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Memphi...Remote.xml
Then you can copy paste this file in the userdata/keymaps
folder (you can use the build in "File manager" of Kodi to copy paste this file in the correct folder).
We are here is needed ;-)
More info here https://kodi.wiki/view/Keymap#Location_of_keymaps
@ sy6sy2
Thanks for the "where" the "how" was familiar to me.
I have now installed two test scenarios on the Apple TV 4K.
Senario 1 with Kodi 17.6 last deb from memphiz
Senario 2 with Kodi 19.0 last deb - kodi-20200120-a66cb5e7-master-tvos.deb
In both senaria I copied the customcontroller.SiriRemote.xml file from memphiz (
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Memphi...Remote.xml) into the keymaps directory.
Menu TV Shows
In Senario 1 the xml file works as expected and opens the context menu in all levels with a long keystroke.
In Senario 2 I have the following result with a long keystroke.
- When I switch to TV Shows I see the covers (in Progress TV Shows and the recently added episodes. Here I get the context menu displayed correctly.
- When I go to the next level, for example by clicking on the cover, I see the individual seasons. Here the long keystroke no longer opens the context menu but the information menu. The same happens when I go to the next level in the episodes.
I assume that this is a code change and has nothing to do with the xml-file in the keymaps directory.
This change has only occurred since the deb-file "kodi-20200117-01149380-master-tvos.deb" and the files before that are working fine.
I don't know which changes caused this behaviour between the file "Kodi-20200115-f4f9d88a-master-tvos.deb" and "kodi-20200117-01149380-master-tvos.deb" but it continued in the following deb-files.
The question I ask myself is this so desired or is it a small bug?
I hope that there is more clarity.
Thanks for your great job, which allows us to use Kodi on the best platform
