I use a RP3 over wifi, it gets files from a shared windows 10 folder, and the database is running from mysql on that same win10 system.
It streams video and manually queued MP3 music just fine. Not long ago, I did some iperf testing between the devices, over 30 seconds I average about 26MBits/Sec

I created my very first playlist the other day from within libreelec build #0301, it consists of 567 songs, it takes 9 minutes to begin playing.
I can edit the playlist and it takes maybe a minute to gather the information and open the file list, but to actually play the playlist there is a 9 minute delay.

The display shows the Scanning Media Information window, the progress bar goes all the way to the right (complete) relatively quickly, and then it just sits there until music finally begins to play just over 9 minutes later.
Is this a normal and expected delay of 9 minutes for my setup?
I would say "yes"... I can't find the post right now, but I do recall a thread from ages ago discussing delays when starting a playlist. Ping @DaveBlake as our music expert. Smile

Hi guys,

I somehow can no longer connect to my RPi3 via ssh.
I always get "Connection reset by peer". I remember some weeks ago it was totaly fine but in the meantime I have updated kodi to some build in Feb. and it is not working anymore.
Option "-vvv" for ssh does not bring up more details for the problem. Connection to RPi has been established and terminates immediately.

Because ssh is not working I can not provide any logs.
Kodi is working fine and I can stream videos via youtube/netflix/arte...

Does anyone have the same problem as I have?

Tonight I will try do downgrade to one before Image because this is the only image which says someting with ssh but from the text it should not be related to.
Nothing has changed recently with respect to ssh. Are you sure you are connecting to the correct IP address? Is Samba still working? If so you can upload the latest zip from the "Logfiles" Samba share.

Had to look up what that is, and - just out - dav1d-0.6.0 might be an even bigger highlight: "10/12bit decoding on ARMv8 CPUs, up to 2.5 times faster than 0.5.2"

Hi,

I'm pretty sure that I use the correct IP.
I've modified cmdline.txt to boot just in a text console. Because when booting to kodi there is no reachable cmdline/textconsole.
Killed sshd and started "/usr/sbin/sshd -dd -D -p 2000" hoping to get some debugging infos but acctualy there is nothing which points me to something that is missconfigured or what the problem might be.

Session just dies with "Connection restet by peer" on the client.
The server dies with "ssh_remote_port failed". Was trying to attach a screenshot but it's not working.

I was also downgrading to some image in January but no luck. I'm totaly lost.

I do not use Samba. What do you mean with "If so you can upload the latest zip from the "Logfiles" Samba share."??
Ahhh, found it. The buttons for image and imgur are transposed. The Button Image opens an URL field and the Button imgur opens the correct dialog for local images:
Here is the output of the sshd. After the four blank lines in the middle is the connect from my client.

Open \\ipaddress\Logfiles (where ipaddress is the IP address of your LibreELEC device) and upload the latest zipfile somewhere, then post a link.

Alternatively, use the LE Settings add-on to upload a kodi log, then post the url.

I'm close to 100% certain that ssh is working for everyone else, what other kernel command line or ssh configuration changes have you made? Have you disabled ssh password authentication?

@sphiinx you might also want to check your network, for example try disabling your firewall if you have one.

@Milhouse , thanks! I will give it a try.
Will also try a fresh installation and see if the problem for me still exists.
Quote:Have you disabled ssh password authentication?
Yes, I tried both with and without password authentication. I've also turned sshd of and on.
It's realy strange.

Thank you! Yesterday I checked both devices(LE and client) that there are no firewallrules are set.
But it's a good hint.
On the client side I have pihole running. Maybe this could cause the problem but since the server(LE) quits the connection I guess the problem is more there to find. Just a guess.

I'll include 0.6.0 tonight (assuming there are no build issues) but I don't think there'll be much improvement for RPi hardware as these RPi builds are ARM32/ARMv7 not ARM64/ARMv8.

I am running the #305 test build of LibreELEC without any operational issues on a Rasberry PI 3b+.  However, for some time, possibly all of Kodi 19, I have been experience random reboots when the system is idle.  This is annoying because it will changes the source on the TV through CEC.

kodi.log ends with:

2020-03-06 08:20:12.813 T:28386  NOTICE: CAddonMgr::FindAddons: xbmc.python v3.0.0 installed
2020-03-06 08:20:12.813 T:28386  NOTICE: CAddonMgr::FindAddons: xbmc.webinterface v1.0.0 installed
2020-03-06 08:23:11.910 T:28441   ERROR: CWebServer: unable to handle HTTP POST field

I am at a loss on how to troubleshoot this.  Is this a KODI problem? Is my SD past its prime? Is my receiver sending nonconforming packet that causes a KODI crash?

Suggestions?
