Yeah after using it for a bit, I agree that it looks better without the indicator (and not really necessary since the label is in the header). I've removed it from the latest.
It looks good - definitely better than the arrow indicator. I actually think no indicator is my favourite now though - I think it is pretty clear from the header and the widgets what section that you're in.
