Any EMM 2.0 news?

To be sincere, the present version fulfills my needs beautifully.
There's just one thing I sorely miss: a Director column in the general view, in addition to the built-in ones (Title / Original Title  / Year / IMDB / TMDB).
For my usage, Director is a must and I think I've read somewhere that 2.0 would allow users to add it.

Check if:

• use TMDb as primary scraper (first position in the settings) and use the title from TMDb. IMDb also provides german titles, but the result is not always the right one.

You get the data from an ISO you have to install Virtual CloneDrive and set the path and drive letter in "Settings => Options => General => ISO Scanning". With this option enabled the ISO will be loaded into the virtual drive, Ember waits to get a "Drive is ready" message from Windows, read the metadata and unloads the ISO.

Yes, i set this setting and use VCD 5.5.2.0, but it seems that the "drive is ready" message not work for me on W2020 H2. Maybe there should also a "finished" message for EMM. In other words, EMM begin to scan and every second i got the scraped finished message, but without scraped metadata!

Sorry, my fault: the "ready check" is not yet implemented. Please try to add a new timeout setting to the .\Ember Media Manager\Profiles\Default\AdvancedSettings.xml to set a custom timeout (in milliseconds, e.g. 5000 for 5 seconds):

With this settings Ember waits as long you set the timeout after triggering VCD to load the ISO before the scan will be started.

There seems to be one more issue. For Kodi and to play movies with mpc-be i have to add a 3d flag to the iso name like e.g. Thor_3d.iso. Now EMM renamed all my 3d iso files with a new name and i have to rename them again. How can i prevent EMM to do this?

Edit: Solved, i deactivate renamer tool.

I have to  to say that Media companion does actually scrape all ratings including RT.
I really Love ember but seeing everyone else's Kodi showing nice ratings on home screens ( using appropriate skins) is just breaking me.
trying to get the ratings & appropriate flags in Kodi skins has broken my library & my Kodi.
I have to redo my full library setup & re scrape...
Please Dan just add this ratings scraper  and ember will be 110% perfect ...

i rather have imdb ratings since its more popular but the only thing thats killing me is trailers not scraping. ember is #1 for my needs and the nfos it generates play nice with mediaelch so all i have checked on that is trailers and boom, nfos now have working trailers. just have to resync to kodi to update the trailers in the information page of movies.

Yes. YouTube and also Apple throttle the download speed extremely. I hope on some time i can re-add the videobuster.de scraper. Was always the best and fastest source for HD trailers, but it looks like they now block downloads from outside of the webbrowser

anything we can help there? is it just a user-agent thing or something more complex?

I think tv shows does not have a year field and if you use a flag without surrounding {} than it will be used even if the flag is empty. You could change it to {($Y)} but as i said tv shows does not have a year field IMO.
