Installed alpha 0.1.0 release and apart from the previously discussed unavailability of creating an addon widget, implementation of skin shortcuts hasn't produced any problems for me so far.
Default library view is set to landscape row and if you scroll or select a movie/tv show that has a really long title eg. Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) the title shudders constantly until focus is shifted away. Font size and weight is different to that used when poster row is selected as viewtype. What I did to offset that visual effect for long titles is to change viewtype to poster row when selecting that item then revert to landscape. The title for only the selected item changes to font used for poster viewtype, default font for landscape view remains intact for everything else. Not sure if this is intended.
I realise this is still WIP, as part of its development will an alphabet strip be added? When only viewtype available is row, scrolling through large library is inefficient.
I've never used Netflix, Disney +, HBO Max but have seen their layouts. On my ATV 4K I have installed Plex, MrMMC, Emby, Infuse and of course KODI. KODI's powerbase that sets it apart from other media apps is smart playlists, custom widgets, IPTV, and integrating video addons, my impression of GTV is that KODI has a skin that can compete with other streaming and media player apps in terms of aesthetics, ease of use, setup and function.
Well done.
