Hi!

I tried to watch Arcane today but I only get it in 960x540 resolution.

Pretty much every other show works with 1080p just fine. Just today I tried for example Stranger Things, Interstellar, Friends, Squid Game. They all worked at 1080p.

I have LibreELEC 9.2.8 running on a RPi 400. Netflix add-on version 1.12.8. InputStream 2.4.8.1 with widevine 4.10.2252.5 (14092.77.0).

Any ideas?

OK, I think I got it. I had the option "Enable vp9 profiles" disabled, so that I would force it to use H.264, which has hardware decoding ok RPi. But it seems this show simply doesn't have an 1080p stream in H.264. I enabled vp9 profiles and now I get a 1080p. I was afraid it would lag or something because of software decoding, but it looks fine so far.

Well, that wasn't it. Later that day, without changing anything in the settings, I found myself with 960x540 again. This time, all streams vp9. I ended up disabling vp9 profiles again, which gave me 1080p back. Weird stuff.

I guess it's possible that some episodes only have a 1080p stream on vp9 and others only H.264. I don't know, I didn't check. In any case, if anyone has this issue, just know that toggling that option (Enable vp9 profiles) in the settings may help.

Let's just hope this is not a first step from a nasty move by Netflix to leave Kodi users without 1080p, like it is with Prime and Disney+.

Anyone else getting MSLError as of an hour ago ? this is on Pi4 with latest version,

tried resetting WideVine, re-installing Netflix as well as InputStream, also tried logging off and back on, nothing is working anymore, was working fine just a couple hours ago, this is happening with every show/movie

Nope, works fine on my Firestick 4K Max.

Edit: Well now I've restarted the device & Kodi and getting the MSL error.
It seems to only happen when HDR is enabled (in the device settings, not the addon) for me. Changing the addon settings makes no difference.

Shield TV Pro 2019 is encountering the same error "This title cannot be watched instantly".
I think this is a Netflix server-side change that needs to be fixed by the add-on developer.
Official Android TV App works fine.

I am also getting the same MSL error as of yesterday. No changes to my Kodi settings or system settings as far as I am aware. I am using Windows 11 and the latest Netflix addon and Kodi 19.3. I wonder if Netflix has made a change on their end somehow.

The issue has been located and fixed because Netflix started using the licensed manifest request "v2" version.

Hey Guys,

a question how to change scraper language for this addon language?
the source of this addon dont show up at the normal Video Media Spot (where all other media sources are found to config them).

My LE scrapes Netflix Addon exported Shows in english and not in the language that LE is set.
Well when i installed LE and all Addons LE was set to english, but i changed that. And every other source i could change, too.
But i can't find that for the Netflix Addon.

ARM DEVICES WITH SD QUALITY LIMIT PROBLEM

This is a know problem due to last changes done by netflix website
ARM devices (RPI etc...) that use Kodi and/or CoreElec/LibreElec are now limited to SD quality
at this moment it is not clear if this is an our problem, and if/how can be solved
