Arctic: Zephyr - Reloaded
A question : I get two lines of text on the top left of every screen, e.g:

Home.xml
Current Focus: 300

It is showing in a nearly transparent band/strip that covers the top few inches of the screen. It's showing on every screen no matter what, including playing music, TV shows and movies.

This photo shows what I mean:

and this one:

Is there any way to turn this off?

Apart from that, great skin.

I am trying to see if it is feasible to use XML edits to modify the home menus, as messing with the interface takes forever. I added a widget and gave it a label of XYZ, then closed Kodi, and searched through all the files I could find. Cannot find the XYZ text. Looked through xml files, SQLite databases, in both the user folders and program files folder as well. Does anyone know offhand where this text is stored, and whether there's any chance I can avoid the UI? (I did this very happily with my old defunct skin Andromeda.)

I am loving the skin, just configuring these screens takes ages and doesn't seem to be able to be backed up.

The home menu and widget configuration is managed by skin shortcuts addon Smile I don't know, if there is a simple way to backup those settings.

Thank you! That did the trick.
Love the skin by the way. I've been trying a few over the last few weeks, so far this one is perfect for me!

Is possible to have a Spotlight on featured with TV Episodes?
It does it for Movies on featured but TV Shows it just shows the fanart.
I know it use to do this, am I missing something?

Sorry for another question!
On the 'Now Playing' screen, is it possible to change the brightness of what is currently playing? Music is fine, but for any videos the brightness is much too dim for me. Is it possible to change this? I've changed the global options in the background settings to 70% but it is still far too dim.

You are welcome Smile

If you mean the "show now playing video in background" setting, then no, because a contrast for widgets and text is needed. This also depends on the selected home menu style.

Yeah, that's been bothering me for a while too. I have created a branch for testing. For me it looks cool and works well. There is an option "episodes widgets background" in skin settings > extras. Please test and let me know, what you think:

Thanks for your quick reply. I've changed the skin colours back to default and it looks a lot better. Love the skin.

Nope, but if you install from zip, you wont get any updates. If you have file access to your skin folder, you can simply edit the file by yourself. I'ts located here:
