Mod Estuary MOD V2 Matrix/Nexus/Omega KN Edition
Thanks a LOT for the added dim function for music (or in my case, radio). Really nice 👍

Hi,

Thanks all for keeping this MOD alive Smile

Would it be possible to reintegrate the Title display with the Mosaic (vertical) view

Guillouz had initially put it then removed it.
We can see here that on the 1st version of this view we saw the title ---> New Update 2.1.8 • Add new 'Mosaic (vertical)' view

It is true that it was not always readable but it is even more difficult to read the title on some jacket.
Maybe it is possible to display the title in another way or in another place?

Have a good week everyone

Will ad a breadcrumb label including the title of the movie on top of the view...

Thanks, that's a good idea, I hope others will like it too.

Migrated from 18.9 to 20.1 this weekend. Had to work through some central DB issues but working great now.

Love this skin as I did with 18.9! Thank you so much for keeping it alive.

In trying to restore my environment like I did in 18.9, under Select Background for Movies, TV Show, Add-ons, Etc, I used to be able to choose a jpg and it would be shown on the home page.

For some reason, in this version, even though I use the same jpg's or the one's furnished, they are not showing up. The home menu just has a blank backround.

I 've tried to read most of this long thread, but might have missed the solution.

I apologize in advance if I did.

It's the first time I've heard about this. After some googling I have found this post: https://discourse.osmc.tv/t/estuary-mod-...skin/83209 I'll convert all skin images to baseline, maybe this behaviour has gone then.

This is not available, only backgrounds of power menu, settings and search menu are changeable.

I must be misunderstanding or presenting my question incorrectly.

"This is not available, only backgrounds of power menu, settings and search menu are changeable.

Under Settings, Skin Settings, Home Menu, Customize main menu, for each category these is a "Select Background."

In the version for Kodi 18.9, Estuary Mod would allow me to path to a jpg and then on the Home Menu if you moved your cursor over Movies, TV Show, etc, the background would show up.

It seems someone in post 614 stated that was working for them.

BTW, I must have done something since I typed this post as now my Home Menu is hidden unless I hit the ESC key rather than being pinned in place.

I figured out the Home Menu being hidden.

Thank you for your work on this skin. What I am asking isn't a big deal, but it was a nice aspect.

But to be clear, this portion is still my valid question or observation:

This is a property of the "Skin Shortcuts" Addon and should work as expected. Just tested. Additional You need the "Image Resource Select" Addon installed, but I'm not shure at this point.

So I am feeling sorry to ask this question. But I cannot find this addon "Skin Shortcuts" in the official Kodi repository to install it.

It is listed in the wiki
https://kodi.wiki/view/Add-on:Skin_Shortcuts though not listed under the heading Skins using Skin Shortcuts

I am running Windows 20.1 Nexus.

The last forum discussion on Image Resources Select was in 2021 as I cannot find that add-on either.

Both addons are from the official Kodi repo. Feel free to install them directly from skin (settings --> skin settings):

They also both in the kodi mirrors: http://mirrors.kodi.tv/addons/nexus/
