@AchillesPunks any chance of a link to the version you have 19.0.1?
I'm downloading the Devs repo now.

I'll be very interested to know how you got on, cheers.
I always have backups of skins. I can not check everything out right now. Today is like my Sunday and I start my 4 day work week tomorrow so I cannot do anything with the skin. I did try the Devs repo version of the skin and widgets did not work.. My version is working

I found the reason why the widgets don't work in the new version.
The “template.xml” is missing. The file was probably accidentally deleted when creating the new skin version.

That's good an easy fix

Thank you Fuchs.
To be honest, the file was deleted out of ignorance: I bluntly removed all files that do not have DATA in their name ;-)

Version 20.23.11.22: Added Arial font and fixed widgets

Much appreciated to you all for looking into it.

Hi all, hopefully this is an easy question, and I am in the right area...
I have vanilla installed on 18.9 and on an android tv box

When I first had it installed, before changing around some skin settings/looks, the movie genre would show in the OSC, now it is not

When watching a movie, if I press the OK button on the remote, the bottom bar would show (with the play/pause FF etc... buttons) and the genre would show on the right (near where the time shows).
Now it is not. Does anyone know where that setting is? For the life of me I can not find it.
If it matters, I am using the Windows 10 look.
Install went smoothly and there are no errors while using the skin
The only 'update' I did so far was download the color picker

Thanks

Try pressing 'i' for information instead of 'ok/return'.

Hi malvinas2

I am installing from the repository from the 1st page on this thread but getting some dependency errors

Installation for Kodi 20 - Nexus
Install repository of Titan Vanilla:
https://github.com/malvinas2/repository....-1.0.0.zip

I am installing everything from scratch but I am using a 20.2 fork (troypoint) on an android tv box.
Am I missing something or maybe an updated repository somewhere?

Thanks again for your help

Hi! @acevideo

This may be an issue with the 20.2 (troypoint) fork on Android TV. I checked and reinstalled the Titan Vanilla skin on Kodi 20.4 and on the WBMC 20.4 fork, the Titan Vanilla skin on Nexus installs without any problems...

For me, by far the best skin for Android TV on Nexus and Omega is Titan MOD from versions 20.1.25 and 20.1.26, a skin also derived from the Titan skin.   Smile

However, everyone who likes Titan Vanilla can easily install the skin from the skin maintainer's repository. The Nexus repository has been updated to allow those interested to install this skin on Kodi.

@acevideo

I updated the repo resp. created a new one, try the updated link in the opening post.
Actually the old one worked, but one had to change the entry within "Settings/System/Add-ons/Update official add-ons from..." to "Any repository".

BTW: Are you guys using Kodi on an Android Tablet or Android TV ?

Hello!  @malvinas2

Will there be a version of the Titan Vanilla skin available in your repository that works on Kodi 21 Beta 3 Omega (ABI 5.17.0), with the code entered into the skin in the addon.xml file:
<import addon="xbmc.gui" version="5.17.0"/>

Hello!  @malvinas2

Sorry for the earlier mistake in the nickname  (I noticed this error quite late, but I fixed it in editing). The automatic translation of the text is to blame, where I requested that the Titan Vanilla skin running on Kodi 21 Beta 3 Omega be added to your repository.

I just wanted to take a min to thank the developers of this Vanilla release. I had been using Kodi version 18.9 since I didn't want to lose the Titan skin.

Youtube stopped working yesterday and the only fix was to update to v19 or v20.....but I totally was not happy with the Estuary skin. I mistakenly downloaded the Bingie Mod, not knowing what it was (it had the Titan name).

Well I finally made it here and must say I am back to being happy again. Thanks again!

Hello!

@superdesi,  Titan BINGIE MOD has long gone its own way and has little to do with Titan. Currently, there are only two skins for Kodi, which continue the traditional Titan. These are Titan MOD and Titan Vanilla. Titan MOD is developing much more, it even has a version for Kodi 21 Omega  (Titan MOD Omega version 21.1.27 or higher).

Titan Vanilla is currently only available on Kodi 20.5 Nexus.
