you could try to turn off InputStream Adaptive in the plug-in setting….

Dear experts,
Could you please help me understand why I have this situation?
Kodi Addon Repository 3.3.1 shows YouTube addon version 7.0.2.2, but if I go to Github, I can download the 7.0.3.2?
I’m sorry if I ask something obvious!

Thanks for mentioning the alpha 7. I had the same issue but was running v18.9 Leia since I found no reason to upgrade.
Installed the latest v20.5 and YT 7.0.3.2 which ran quite well but I had no subtitles.
Downgraded to 7.0.0 and YT broke. Alpha was the sweet spot.

Cool, it works perfectly again with a manual installation of the latest version.
However, by manually installing this version, will automatic updates continue?
