Trakt.tv v3
I would assume that "plugins" and "addons" (as far as Trakt is concerned), are one and the same thing.

I have all the Trakt Exclusion checkboxes checked, as well as a couple of folders containing non-library-scraped videos.

Trakt doesn't seem to scrobble anything I play via YouTube (Which I use A LOT), So it's safe to assume it will only scrobble library content (minus excluded folders), with that option checked/selected.

Hello

Since a few days, Kodi keeps crashing when Trakt is syncing. More specifically when it says " 50 of 80 show(s) have episodes added to Trakt collection". So it seems to be specific to a show I'd think but I can't figure out the log. The last line shows a LOT of information, perhaps that could be the reason why?

@Razze

Please advise how to disable scrobbling temporarily from within an addon.

This relates to the IMdB-Trailers addon that I wrote and in the official kodi repo.
With Kodi 21.0 and the latest trakt.py v3.6.1 (from official kodi repo), it is scrobbling the trailers and marking the movie as watched in trakt, this wasnt the case with the previous versions in Kodi 20.x

For example if you play the trailer for "Civil War" from the IMdB-trailers addon, I can see that it is doing a post to https://api.trakt.tv/scrobble/start with the following data
{"progress": 2.3650602409638557, "app_version": "4.4.0", "app_date": null, "movie": {"title": "Civil War", "year": 2024}}

when the trailer finishes i can see a post to https://api.trakt.tv/scrobble/stop with the following data
{"progress": 99.17469879518072, "app_version": "4.4.0", "app_date": null, "movie": {"title": "Civil War", "year": 2024}}
and the response has "action":"scrobble"

So when the trailer finishes, it shows up in my trakt history as if the movie has been watched
please help on how to overcome this issue in the IMdB-trailers addon

On my PC, Kodi gets stuck at "Synchronizing Movies - 1%" when I try to sync with Trakt. I can still click cancel, but it hangs at "cancelling" so I have to force Kodi to close.

I should note that I have a MariaDB-10 database on my Synology NAS to centralize Kodi and recently setup two new Windows 11 PCs as well as a MacBook Air. All three run Kodi v21 (Omega) and the xml files (e.g., advancedsettings.xml) are identical. Oddly, my Mac syncs without any issues so, as a workaround for now, I update the library using one of my PCs and sync the library to Trakt with my Mac.

I'm hopefully someone might be able to figure out the issue on my PCs with this log.
