That's where I got 1.1.1, in that first post. But somehow I did find the Wulf repository somehow in github. Not sure how I found v1.3

nope, the first post isn't mine and I cannot update it. The owner of the first post hasn't been on here since 2017.
The configuration shouldn't be too difficult, but depends on your setup and your preferences. As mentioned, I am using Kodi 20 and do not know if this addon works in 21 at all, however, in worst case, there'll be errors in the logs and nothing happens. Send logs in that case as per instructions in my signature.
First, enable "Allow file renaming and deletion" under Kodi Settings -> Appearance -> File Lists
Second configure the addon. I think the options pretty much explain themselves, but here it goes:
- Under File Management, select for Movies and/or Episodes if you want files to get deleted or moved, only moved or only deleted. Select your folder structure as per your source definition, either single folder with all movies/episodes in one folder or multiple folders where each movie/show is in subfolders. When you want to move the files, select which folder they should be moved to. Lastly, define whether empty directories should be removed or not.
- Under Restrictions, you can define exclusion words what shouldn't be managed or exclude a particular folder or set only a single folder which should be managed for either movies or shows.
- Under properties you define what percentage watched of a movie/episode should trigger afterwatch. default is fine. You can let it update the whole video library after an action and/or remove the video from the library. If you decide to keep the deleted file in the library, you can preserve the watched status and set custom tag. This feeds into the rating option. You might want to keep the movie even without the file to keep a record of a low rating. I'm not using this myself.
- Rating, enable ratings movie/episode after watching. makes most sense if you don't use this addon to delete your files.
- Post, open quit menu/logoff user/turn off display via cec in linux after watching movie/show.
- Advanced, confirm deleting moving is enabled by default and acts both as a safety or just confirmation. Set it to your preference. If you specify only deleting tvshows and always want to delete them after watching them without confirmation, that might be fine for you. Confirmation makes most sense if you want to keep some but delete others. The delay confirmation can help if other plugins interfere. 2 seconds might work better for some. Warn file threshold is a security setting to prevent wiping all your files by accident and alternative file management might be necessary depending on what system/os you're using this on and where your files are.
As config depends on your preferences and your setup, someone else's config won't help.

Thanks! I have now set it up. Here is the one thing that was different on 21. I see its also on the scroll menu from, I am guessing v20
First, enable "Allow file renaming and deletion" under Kodi Settings -> Media -> General
Setup and Just tested.
OMG! It deleted the show file from my SMB share! Sweet.
This is EXACTLY what I needed.
You Might want to start a new thread with your Repo link at the top and those setup instructions in that too! This is a god send. So it does work on v21
Wow, Thanks Bill

Hi, I have been using after watch for about a week now and its working very well. That said I think there may be a bug that should be looked at. It seems when I watch a show but pause it and go to a different show that I watch to the end, After watch wants me to remove the other (first show) not the one that I actually watched all the way. I have the watched setup set to 90% and I am no where near that on the first show that I paused and hadn't gone back to yet.
Its happened a few times so far, and tonight is when I realized what show it wanted to delete, and possibly why it wasn't the show I watched to the end.
Thanks, Bill
SageTV as my OTA PVR. Bulletproof with every configurable setting you could ever want/need! Struggling to find a decent client.. Kodi is interesting now that I found the Afterwatch plugin. Infuse is pretty good after the first few days of using it and its simple to delete a show from disk, one click or two with confirmation!!!! Traveling via 40'DP 6 months per year.

I have not experienced such an issue myself, but I'm primarily using it for movies and not tvshows and there's a possibility this might be related to Kodi 21.
Without logs, I can't really look into this. Please provide debug logs by both enabling debug logging in the afterwatch settings and enabling debug logging in kodi, then restarting kodi and replicating the issue and lastly uploading the debug log to paste.kodi.tv. See links in my signature for more info if required.

I will turn on those debug settings and reproduce it. Hopefully I will find a way to get those logs off the GoogleTV Box so I can upload them. Not something I have done on one of these STB's yet. -Bill

I think my logfile is there now. /vatecoyewe Thanks for the logfile uploader info! -Bill
I was able to reproduce it. Watched a few minutes of Das Boot then paused it, then watched (skipped all the way thru) an episode of Downys dream cars. When it got to the end it asked me to delete the episode of Das Boot NOT Downys Dream cars I actually watched to the end. -Bill

@anontester Were you able to see anything in the new upload? I see references to das boot and afterwatch.

I briefly looked at it, but did not have time to go deep into it. The afterwatch log entries look like they're the standard logging for it. Did you set afterwatch to debug log as well? Also, can you confirm what delay you set in your afterwatch config?
Lastly, to better understand how you use kodi and where this issue happens, what exactly are you doing when you pause one episode and go to another? Are you fully stopping the episode, then select another and watch that or are you selecting a different episode while the first one is still playing in the background or in pause mode?
