how can i make it so kodi automatically scans posters with "no language" instead of english, but keeps the rest of the database (plot, title etc) in english instead?

Posters with no language are called keyart

There is no option in the scrapers to use keyart instead of posters. You would have to download the keyart manually and save it locally. If you want to use it as a poster, then name it poster.jpg instead of keyart.jpg
