To receive meaningful assistance you will need to provide a full debug log.

If you are using the Basic Method, then ensure the following is applied...
1.Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging,
2.Restart Kodi
3.Replicate the problem.

If you are using the Advanced Method ensure you have correctly created and applied the advancedsettings.xml file (wiki)

In both instances, you should see the word DEBUG throughout the log.

Even if the scrapper has not recognized the chapters due to a problem with the file names or the reference websites, you can view the chapters from the Videos->Files menu by navigating to their folder.

i'm unable to locate any part in the log where you tried to click on or play anything

did you replicate the problem before uploading the log?

When i press the tv show “house” the screen turns blue, I considered that an error, i only just realised that if i leave it there for a good 10 minutes eventually it will load, the load time is the issue i guess, this is the log after house finally played

Please try again with Debug Mode enabled.
Logs always must have debug mode enabled to be of any use diagnosing problems.
But your log does show a lot of connection errors. Is your network correctly set up and accessible?

if i leave it there for a good 10 minutes eventually it will load

log shows kodi started in 11 seconds
a 2.5 minute gap (presumably you staring at the screen, clicking buttons, no debug so no way to know)
then a 15 second segment from the time the video opened until you stopped it

hardly 10 minutes but as Karellen said, needs to be DEBUG enabled
might just be a slow drive connected to your TV

It is not a literal 10 minutes but it is a good wait as opposed to play and watch, i only recently learned it will eventually play
