i want xbmc to be in applications...so i read the tutorial and i ftp everything then when it says transfer default.xbe........its not in the folders..i even did a search on all the folders and it wasnt in there......please help!

dude, what you have downloaded is source code, not executable code. you have to compile it (with a compiler) to get the default.xbe file.

you could just search this forum for the text string "usual places".
