Hi All,
I've been running TVHeadEnd as a VDR backend for my ION-XBMC for the last couple of months with no major issues.
The DVB-T streams i'm getting through TVHeadEnd are h264/AAC with a resolution of 720x576 about 2Mb/sec Video and 50Kb/sec Audio.
When watching TVHeadEnd through my appletv2 (via HTSP) the stream constantly skips, and feels as though the appletv2 struggles due to not enabling any kind of GPU offloading (running top on the appletv2 shows the appletv process peaking at 110%).
my existing ION-XBMC does use VDPAU for those streams and I can watch them stutter free, even with de-interlacing enabled.
Any ideas? is this a known issue?
BTW, in both systems (appletv2, ION) I can see continuity errors in the logs.
