[Minimivic]

Im new to XBMC, so be gentle.
My XP Media PC hard drive failed, spec as followes
Asus M2A-VM
AMD AAthlon 64 X2 Dual core 5400+ 1.80ghz
2GB Ram 2 x Corsair CM2X1024-6400
M-Audio 24/96
HIS HD2600Pro ATI based graphice 256mb 128bit DDR2
Akasa 400w power supply
1tb Seagate Hard drive Movies etc
LG Bluray drive

I have live working from USB at moment, I cannot get sound from the onboard sound card or the M-audio Analogue or digital. Any ideas what to try.

Also The internal Hard drive containing my movies on MKV and iso is not shown anywhere.External WD is playing the music files from there.

Would I be better getting a different graphics card G-Force with HDMI to solve any issues.

Shall I get a SSD to install live onto.

I want XBMC to be like a settop box for the wife and kids, to save then using my Oppo BDP95 all the time.
