XBMC 10.1 Problems with Movie Thumbnails
#1
I am having difficulties with my thumbnails display on my XBMC setup. Little background on my setup:
Dharma 10.1
Using Media Center Master for meta data / image gathering
Using Backrow Skin
Media organized into a MOVIES -> MOVIENAME subfolder type system.
Windows 7 Ultimate

The problem I am having is a LOT of movies are showing a random scene or what seems to be a fanart.jpg file for the thumb instead of the folder.jpg like I want. I read the XBMC docs before posting and it said it first searches for a file named the same as the folder name FIRST then for a folder.jpg. I noticed each movie folder has a exactmoviefoldername.nfo FILE. Could it be trying to use that, failing then checking for the fanart.jpg and using it? Is there a way to FORCE all movies to use folder.jpg?

Also, a bonus question. Is there a way to get the RATING that my movies are displaying to be the exact IMDB score versus 1-5 stars? The stars seem completely pointless and it doesnt even seem to calculate them right.

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR ANY HELP! Laugh

try something like this,

Moviename (year).mkv (any given file extension, leave it as is) When you are scanning movies, make sure you scan recursively to get down into all the folders and sub folders.
Proper Usage of a debug log
