I have a folder c:\music, and for I add all albums under this folder

e.g. c:\music\album1, c:\music\album2


For this reason I have added the path c:\music into xbmc music library.

My questions is, when I add a new album e.g. c:\music\album3, how do I scan it into the library.

e.g. should I right click any existing album in the music library and do a library update or should I exit the library mode, and in file mode select c:\music again and do "scan into library" again. (I did this later step the first time I made the music library)

is there any difference in the 2 approaches?

The 'add to library' option will be quicker, because XBMC will only look for information in that directory. If you chose to update the library, XBMC will also look for changes in all the other folders. The audio library update is pretty quick though, so the easiest approach is to just automatically update the audio library on startup.
