I cant find any way to make the videos on my play list shuffle.
The only way to hussle it up a bit is by setting the smartlist sorting to random,
only it isnt so random, it always plays down the same order when I start it.

Apparently these options are found in "now playing" but I have no idea where that is hiding.

In any video list view press C, and near the bottom of the context menu will be "Now playing...". Select this to see the Now Playing playlist. Press left to open the left pane, and you'll see the shuffle option.
