I have been searching the interwebs and the forums for a couple of days now and I cannot find the answer to my question.
Comcast just upgraded their Guide and DVR Functions. They are both horrible.
I have read that some people are able to connect their STB (Set Top Box) to their HTPC and perform some sort of passthrough, but I cannot find any good documentation.
I have a HTPC running Windows 7, and I have been running the nightly versions for a few weeks now. My STB is a Cisco RNG200.
Can I use my STB? Or do I need a CableCard Reader to use XBMC to watch Live TV and Record HD video?
Thanks!
