I have a fresh install of xubuntu 11.10 . I installed lirc. irw produces key inputs as it should. Everything seems fine until I start XBMC , which does not respond to my remote . I am using Dharma from team-xbmc ppa . Any help would be appreciated

I ended up removing lirc and just using the kernal .

hey, can I ask if your remote works after standby and if you use an mce remote?
mine is dead after resume on natty, I'm just wondering if onieric is any better.
